Major Kant had never been prouder then when he lead his column of AT-ATs out of Eriadu City to the wide planes where the dropships waited to take his Walkers to orbit. He stood atop the lead walker, in an observation platform, waving to the adoring crouds, the banners and pennants of his unit trailing in the morning sun as a light breeze lifted them from the poles behind the observation platform, on the side of the walker was emblazoned a Monochrome picture of Moff Konig. Playing from the loudspeakers was the Imperial March and along the streets Imperial loyalists handed the file of stormtroopers on each side of the line of walkers small gifts and flowers as they marched proudly with arms shouldered.

It was a mighty parade, an auspicious start to a great campaign that would be heard of for a thousand years, he thought as he began to embark his walkers on the landers. Soon the rebels would be crushed and another would would fall under the Imperial Cog and the armoured feet of his walker. After personally supervising the load of each walker the Major walked quickly to the nearby lighter, being one of the last to leave Eriadu to orbit, waiting to take him to meet the boorish aristocrat who was commanding the naval branch of the mission, while he would never tel the man so, he was disgusted with his old fashioned aristocratic ways and the open disrespect he showed for Moff Konig and his rightful rank.

He stepped off the lighter sometime later aboard the vessel he had been allotted to travel on, giving a crisp salute to the welcoming committee "Major Kant, 1st Eriadu Lancers, I trust you will put us in the forefront of our assault" he reported in to Heller, he spoke proudly wearing a uniform that was a little past its best, but obviously fastidiously maintained and polished. His boots and buttons gleamed with a shine so intense that it had not been seen since the NIO's Legendarily well dressed Elite Storm Commandos in their finest hour. Behind him stood his closest aides, Captain Von Krupp (XO) and Lieutenant Reisinger (Pilot of his lead Walker).

A manifest was sent to Heller

Heller stood in the hangar bay of the Marathon, conversing with a casual assortment of his officers as he awaited Kant's embarcation, and glancing over the total manifest of both Kant's men and his and the Myrmidon's troop compliments.

1st Eriadu Lancers
40 Officers
700 Stormtroopers
400 Walker Crew/Support
9 AT-AT Walkers
10 AT-ST Walkers

The Marathon and Myrmidon
96 Stormtroopers
600 Imperial Army Troopers (50 Line Squads)
6 "1-H" Imperial-class Repulsortanks
36 TIE Fighters

"I would prefer more," the Captain remarked as he handed the datapad to his Lieutenant, "but it is adequate. That is, assuming the good Major will wield them well, or at least competently. Ah, here he is now," he interrupted himself as the barge's ramp lowered and out stepped Kant and his entourage. One of the Marathon's officers stifled--loudly--a snicker at the cut of the Major's uniform, prompting Heller to shoot his subordinate a stern, but not altogether disapproving glare. He returned Kant's salute, and shook the man's hand. "Of course," he answered him. "You'll be leading the surface operations Major, and I must say," he added with subtle condescension, "If you command your men with the same effort, and attention to detail that you apply to your uniform, no doubt it will be a very tidy operation at that. My compliments."

"Shall we be underway?" Heller asked after all of the officers had been acquainted. "Lieutenant Prospero will give you the tour, Major, and direct you to your quarters while I tend to things on the bridge. Dorvalla is a short flight; shouldn't be much more than three hours. Until then," he excused himself.

Kant looked over to the naval officer chuckling, speaking under his breath to Heller as he leant forward, the massively muscular Lieutenant Reisinger giving the man an disaproving scowl, flexing his arm muscles and straining his uniform a little. "Id watch that man if I were you Captain, he strikes me as the wrong sort." he smiled though at the uniform comment "I can assure you Captain that my unit is as tight as my trousers, we will catch the enemy unprepared and take them vicously..."

His trousers were skin tight and with a perfectly ironed in crease down the front "I polish my boots with a mix of Standard Imperial Boot Polish and the blood of Rebel Mon-Calamari, it produces excellent results. But I can share that detail with you when we are taking tea in the burning ruins of the enemy's cities, I look forward to your order to disembark." his XO spoke to Hellers men requesting a full scan of the enemy forces before they planned their landing.

"I apologize for having not introduced myself earlier M'lord," Claudavius bowed, his elbow bent--palm to his chest--with the right hand full extended upwards. The bow was a sincere gesture of old aristocracy, evidently something that Mr. Saurn appreciated. Afterwards, when he had finally straightened; the Grand InQuestor would make note of the bridge, and it's tidiness, before address Captain Heller a second time.

"I would have introduced myself earlier and reported for duty as it were, but I had to move the majority of my items to their respective laboratories. As is recorded," the sneaky Intelligence officer handed over the datapad containing his transfer orders, "my transfer to the vessel has been completed on schedule, and not a moment too soon as we are about to get underway yes? Well then," Claudavius smiled, a cruel and sadistic smile; yet oddly warming, "reporting for duty sir."
