(Following the reply of Loran)

Representative Loran, would it be feasible if costs for refurbishing the Walkers would be also able to be included within the final draft as well. I can assure you that the Khoonda Administration has more then enough funds to cover the costs of refurbishment to the Walkers.

Exar Ray
Senator of Dantooine

Certainly, Senator, and indeed your Khoonda Administration is quite efficient and in fine financial standing. The revised costs (based on general, market estimates) are as follows:

250 74-Z Speeder Bikes: (450,000 credits)
30 ULAV's: (387,000 credits)
20 Infantry Support Platforms: (200,000 credits)
5 HTT-26 Transports: (40,000 credits)
24 Rebel Armored Freerunners: (2,750,000 credits)
70 AT-PT's: (2,520,000 credits)
30 AT-AP's: (1,500,000 credits)
10 T3-B Tanks: (150,000 credits)
10 T2-B Tanks: (180,000 credits)
AT-AP Service/Repair: (approx. 3,220,000 credits)

Be advised, however, that the Republic (to my knowledge) does not have any facilities that are still producing components for the AT-AP. Some of them were destroyed in the Clone Wars, and most were subsequently restructured by the Empire to produce more advanced walker lines. To get the parts you need, the Khoonda Administration will likely need to approach a private, specialty manufacturer who may charge more or less than the 3,220,000 credits predicted here (this figure, again, is conjectural).

But in any case, that would bring your total to 11,397,000 credits, however since the Republic won't be performing the maintenance on the AT-AP's itself, the price for this transaction remains at the previous 8,177,000 credits. As stated before, I vote in favor.

From the office of the Chairman,
Drayson Loran (R-OSC)

It looks like the figures are in order, and with no objection from the Senate, the sale is approved. Let's hope that this will go a long way toward the defense and the peace of mind of the planet Dantooine, whose good and industrious people certainly deserve it, I can say from experience having met many of them myself only recently.
