General Cracken, let me first state that the following attachments to this memorandum can be found[url=http://agalaxyatwar.do.am/forum/11-298-1?lLChqN] here[/url]. As I am aware, it is likely that the New Republic Intelligence has kept and eye on Minister Novak for quite some time. It has been my concern that Mr. Novak, having his own fleet of sorts, could be a detriment to Druckenwell in future times. He has, as stated before, promised that his fleet will be pledged to Druckenwell. In my eyes, this means that Druckenwell soldiers and officers will be in charge over said fleet, yet this has not occurred. Even more disturbing is the fact that one of his vessels has been missing for some time, yet he has shown no concern.

While I am sure the NRI has more pressing matters, I would appreciate a response when possible.

NRI will be immediately on alert for the vessel you have suggested is missing; rest assured that the matter will be handled with discretion. However, while we will work to locate this ship, it would appear that the solution to your concerns, regarding Minister Novak, is largely a political as well as potentially a military one. Thus, I have forwarded your memoranda to the Chief of State as well, who I suspect will be in contact with you imminently.

In the meantime, Senator, NRI will remain at your assistance in this matter, and any further information you have would be appreciated. We will be in contact.

Militarily speaking, Minister Novak seems to have singular control over a large force of droids. These seem to be of the Clone War era type, but I believe he has been upgrading them, though I do not know where he is gaining the parts. He has the support of the populace, which worries me. He has been creating new jobs... perhaps, General, my fears are unfounded, but I cannot shake the feeling that there is something sinister at hand.
