| In his arguement for his legislation, the Agricultural and Cultural Traditions Act, Senator Jamulon Desilijic Tiure of Dantooine made comments that are offensive, unbecoming of a Senator, and goes against the very ideals that the Common Charter and this very Republic stands for. As such, I formally submit this Resolution for Censure against Senator Tiure.

| Truly, Senators, is this necessary? Our colleague, Senator Tiure, made an inartful remark based on an understanding that is different from our own. Nothing more. Was this remark offensive to many members? Yes, but the more salient question is this: was it meant to be offensive? I believe the context shows that it clearly was not. I vote against this measure, because I do not believe Senator Tiure need be victimized any more than his people, historically, already have been. | Mr Forte, The Senator from Dantooine has already been called to order. I hardly see it as nessesary or prudent to now censure him also. He has had his error explained to him.

| Neimoidia votes against this Censure, for the reason that the Chief of State has already made clear. AND as a member of the Administration I feel perhaps the Honourable Chair of the Defense Council should bear this in mind when he considers removing this motion.

| In accordance with my previous comments on the incident, I vote in favor for this measure, and hope that this act of discipline will reinforce the ideas of the Republic, and the Common Charter of which the Senator has a sworn oath to follow, upon the misguided Dantooine delegation. A simple call to order merely says that the person in question is out of line on a procedural basis, such as his insulting of Senator Fitzgerald. Censure is formal discipline which I view as well deserved, unless this body is questioning its stance behind Anti-Slavery...

| I likewise vote in favor, although with some exasperation. This is not the first censure resolution against Senator Tiure and I'm sure it won't be the last. Nonetheless, the reasons for this measure are apparent, as other Senators have pointed out. I particularly second the remarks of Senator Forte who is, perhaps, uniquely qualified on this matter.

| I am in favour of censuring myself.. This is will be my 29th censure, and to all my worthy people, I assure you, on the 30th we shall have a street party, with free little donuts and cakes for all. The water in the water towers shall be replaced by wine for the day and we shall revel!
