With 6 votes in favor and 2 against, I am closing the ballot at this stage as to me it is clear that the will of the Senate is in favour of the resolution and due to the urgency of the matter. This resolution passes.
The New Republic Senate requests and requires both sides in the Twin Worlds conflict cease fire within 24 hours.
It requires both sides to cease military manouvering and withdraw to barracks or defensive lines. This must not be used to launch a "suprise attack" and each side covenants to give 4 hours notice if they plan to renew hostilities. If the ceasefire is broken, an interstellar peace keeping force shall be assembled to establish the ceasefire again.
The cease fire is conditional upon the "Rebel" Government sending an envoy to the Frigate Benevolent (transport to be provided by the New Republic if required) and the opening of three-party talks in order to discuss a resolution to the conflict that will not result in deaths.
An exclusion zone will be established around Talus and Tralus, extending two light minutes radius from each world's gravity well. This will be the area inside which Corellian ships of war will not be permitted, enforcement of this will be down to the fighters aboard Benevolent.
Once both parties have aired their greviences to the New Republic Special Envoy, the Senate will discuss a more permenant resolution to the conflict.
In the mean time, the ceasefire will remain in force indefinately.
Any breaches of the ceasefire, or military actions contrary to this resolution will result in the final settlement being reflective of the cooperation of the relevant parties.
Furthermore, King Mercutio of Naboo is appointed special envoy, a Corvette stands ready in his system to carry him to the conflict-zone. Corellia is cautioned to observe the requirements imposed on it and the Twin Worlds in this motion.
