The officialy position of the Corellian Government is they will accept the terms of the Resolution if they have to, which at the time of the submission of the Corellian vote on the matter, they believed they would have to or face confrontation from yet another element of opposition. However, while reviewing the Resolution, the Corellian Government's judicial branch advised the leadership that there may be violations of Planetary Rights and the Common Charter in the Resolution and its enforcement, thus we are seeking the injunction and asking the Courts to review this Resolution, as we are now of the belief that this may be an illegal piece of legislation. The confusion in the matter is reasonable, Your Honor, however it merely stems, on our side as well, as trying to keep up with the fast pace of the debate on the Resolution (A surprising two day affair), and what updates the Corellian Government could get in, and out. Senator Karath was merely not aware of the change in policy at the time of his submission.
To clarify, it is the stance of the Corellian Government that the Resolution is an illegal action that violates Planetary Rights under the Common Charter.
