| What is the prospective Senator's view on the Corpse-trade? Will the sector be opening up its markets to Khoonda Fried Calibop? The new culinary craze which is sweeping the galaxy.

| The replacement of 16 ships, while seemingly small, is a hit on our Force Projection none the less. If we are looking to fix our issue of dated vessels that is coming up like it did a decade ago, then either update the vessels, or replace them with updated vessels. At this time, I just personally feel that we can not loose any of our forces. As for your comment Senator Cambrist, on the "Karath Reports", I actually do agree with the substance of the report. Controversial some of the phrasing may be, or the fact that the Administration does not like Karath and his views, he is a man of sound military mind. He was part of the group that freed Tapani Sector from Imperial oppression. While I claim no expertise on the matter of defense, I'm more involved diplomacy and the like, being a statesman, from the aspect of a leadership position, I know Senator Karath knows what he is talking about, whether I agree with his personal policies or not. I know that his word on the matter of defense carries weight as a hero of the Rebel Alliance and New Republic, one of the essential Generals of the war. This man is the Liberator of Tapani, Corellian Starbird, and The Sandpanther, among many other nicknames suggestive of his legacy and glory. He has been a staple in the Army for two decades, and a mentor to much of our current leadership. I believe he was even tried to reach a middle ground with the Chief of State, which certainly is outside of the mainstream Senator, for lately it seems to be Gavrisom's way or the starlanes, with no apparent moderation or compromise between the Administration and the opposition. Of course we should begin demilitarizing and downsizing our defense forces, just not now. I believe my views on this subject are sound, and have been covered quiet well. Surely there is a subject/issue other than defense someone wishes to ask me about? Like I said, I am a statesman, not a military officer, and defense is not by expertise. As for Senator Tiure, KFC would be more than welcome to set up shop in Tapani Sector, although we may review some menu items for health/moral reasons. As for the Corpse Trade, at this time, unless persuaded otherwise, by the delegates f this chamber or our people, we will not participate in the act. I thank Senator Cerra for her support.

| I don't agree with this man on everything—certainly not his support for the Empire/Gavrisom Treaty or even for an eventual reduction in arms unless peace is categorically assured. However, despite my disagreements with the man I do not see the point in interrogating him on them. He has been elected to represent the Tapani Sector, undoubtedly for more reasons than simply his views on war and peace (and fast food). Let us stop delaying this application and allow all views to be represented in the Senate, even if we disagree with them. I oppose his views, but not his right to speak them in this chamber. I have no questions of the applicant.

| In no less than two hundred words, what are Senator Elect Crion's views on the Economics Commmittee Preliminary Investigation of the Defense Cuts, and their vastly positive effects to the economy and individuals involved?

| While I do not question Senator-Elect Crion's right to speak in the chamber, I recognise all questions that Senators may have be presented have a right to be answered and as such! And as such I cannot extend recognition to Mr Crion until every Senator with questions has his questions answered to his satisfaction. As such I recognise Senator Kruus' question.

| ((Apologies on the delay)) I do see there are some benefits, in the immediate timeframe. However, I must be cautionary here, and feel free to call me skidish, for it is in my nature now considering the state of the Tapani Sector. However, my gut tells me more time is needed for an accurate result. I feel that some of the prosperity seen in the report, could still be pre-defense cut numbers, thus showing no decline. I also believe a trial period should have been applied on this half-pay proposal, as while work is being completed now, what is to say the job market will be so open and widespread in the future? Whats to say these jobs being completed aren't merely sidejobs, say redoing the duracrete-work outside your home, that have merely been put off, and once finished, these servicemen will have no other job to take. I merely believe in-depth study should have been done in this program before its application, and that more time should be given before a conclusive decision on its success or failure is given. So to respond to your question, and I may have overgone your asked two hundred word limit here, I am currently neutral on the matter, awaiting further time for more in-depth, and clearer, results.

| By fiat currency, I believe you mean our current Galactic Standard Credit, financed by the IGBC. The problem lies in that, the IGBC could be used as a economic weapon by an enemy. Also in that, the Credit isn't always stable, and various events, catastrophies, etc. can effect its value. An Aurodium based, or even Silver or Platinum based, currency, and by that I mean, and am assuming the meaning in this insistance, of literal mineral wealth in the currency itself, perhaps even a combonation of all three, would have the benefit of being solid and reliable...the drawback being it is limited in its amount. It would in theory still be prefered, however the entire economy is established upon the credit, and has been for millenia. Which makes it impossible to make any shift in currency, without dire consequences, in my mind, at least in the short term.

| Nute buys and sells classic starshipss. He placed an advertisement on the Holonet stating that he wished to buy Inter-galactic Mining Corps ships from the period of the Clone Wars and was prepared to offer good prices. He gave his station's coordinates and communicator number and said he could be contacted there during normal office hours, during weekdays and sometimes weekends. On Friday Pors took his IGBC Shuttle to Nute's station and he (Nute) offered 150,000 credits for it. Pors thought they were worth more and he declined the offer and left the shop. However, by the time Nute arrived back home Pors had decided to accept the offer of 150,000 credits and she posted a letter to him to that effect. At the same time Nute was posting a letter to Pors stating that he was prepared to pay 200,000 credits for the shuttle. Pors recived the letter the following day and immediately left a message on his stations answering machine that the ship was sold to Nute for 200,000 credits. On Sunday Pors changed his mind and left another message stating that he no longer wished to sell the classic shuttle. On Monday Nute arrived at his station to find the letter and two communicator messages from Pors. What advice would you give to Nute and Pors in these circumstances? What contracts would exist? (if any) And what would be the best steps they could take to resolve this? (within or without the legal framework).

| Due to lack of interest (after written warning was issued), Mr Crion is rejected as the Senator of the Tapani Sector after failing to answer Senator Kruus' question.
