To: Dr. Alastair Trumboldt
Subject: Re: A Business Proposition To Dr. Trumboldt; you are, likely, unfamiliar with myself or my associates, but we are quite familiar with you and your career, particularly at Rendili StarDrive. The circumstances under which you left that organization were unfortunate, and rest assured we are most sympathetic to you on this matter. However, the intent of this letter is not to make reference to the past but, rather, to make a proposition as regards your future in the design business. The Corporate Sector Authority believes that you have one, and a bright one indeed.
We have a business proposition to make to you, of a sensitive nature. I request to meet with you, at our expense, on the planet Bescane so as to treat this manner confidentially. The date and time can be arranged, but I have included as an addendum to this letter a number of suggestions. We are looking forward to hearing from you and, moreover, looking forward to working with you.
P.S. We would be grateful if you kept this correspondence private, for the time being, until you've heard our offer.
