| “Ladies and Gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that I announce myself, Lancer Niedra of Corellia, to be the new representation for Corellia following the fiasco that I can with good cause entirely place upon our former representative and administration. I must admit that a lot was done to underscore Corellia, and while I do not cast direct blame upon a war hero of the Republic, I believe—gentlemen—that perhaps the administration of Corellia is better left in the hands of one higher achieving than the good General. Nonetheless, there are several items which I will address, and I apologize if I am behind on certain issues; most of my time lately has been spent attempting to correct some of the grave errors of the previous administration. First and foremost, I concede that the previous administration was negligent in its reformation of the Corellian System politics, and while the damage has been done, I will nonetheless strive to balance out some of the issues pertaining to the newly reformed system; as well as plan a referendum as to whether or not said system should be implicated—or a reversal should be made to previous forms. You, my good sirs and ladies as well as transgendered beings, can understand that when a political structure is changed so drastically it is difficult to reappeal, though I shall attempt just that. Next, the horrendous Corellian Sector Usurpation, as it has been dubbed some of the more Knightly members of this Senate. I intend to immediately cede the entire effort and (through Republic oversight) return the former Council to its glory. Of note, the PCCC (the current administration) does not endorse changing structures in place that have been successful, and was at the forefront of opposition towards this unconstitutional act. Third; that while this new administration is against the ban on capital ship construction, the planet of Corellia recognizing the newly attained peace, and what is being strived for through peace. As a gesture of good faith, we invite the Kuati Shipyards to oversee the dismantling and reassembly of the Kor Vella class cruiser in orbit around Corellia, to be refitted as a medical ship, and lent to one of the most diplomatic and peace inspiring planets within the Galaxy—Naboo. Now, while there are more issues that need to be addressed, please rest assured that I will have to review the lengthy amount of reports that have accumulated on former Head of State Karath’s desk. Until then, I thank you for listening to Corellia, and bid you well in this new generation of peace and sovereignty”

| Considering this most surprising display of generosity to my world, I think it is appropriate that I be the first to welcome Senator Niedra to this chamber, and to thank him. Naboo lauds the modification of your warship into a medical cruiser, and accepts the donation of this vessel not only as a gesture of good faith, but also as what we hope will be a symbol for Corellia's new, compassionate role in the galaxy. We will, likely, disagree on many issues, but I respect your words and principles and, indeed, I welcome you to the Senate.
Artemis Vanden Representative of the Naboo

| I also welcome Senator Niedra, though I do not envy him his job. Corellians, now, have a reputation as domineering, arrogant, peremptory, insolent, imperious hypocrites. I wish the Senator the best of luck in reversing this perception, and I hope, indeed, that he will do so. It is encouraging that, at least, he does not seem as cavalier as his predecessor.
