Memorandum for: Eli Fitzgerald
Senator of Ralltiir
Subject: Apology to a Friend

Security: Closed

My old dear friend, I owe you an apology. I lashed out at you in frustration at being taken out of a vital procedure due to the needs of Ryloth, and due to that the many changes I sought to better the proposed measure that would have greatly benefited my people being left out. You, my friend, are the most undeserving of these actions, and I truely and deeply apologize. I can only hope that you can come to forgive me. I am also curious if you would like to meet over lunch or dinner to discuss the Tax Reform Bill, and to that I also apologize for not collaborating with you on before submitting it.

Memorandum for: Senator Cul'utaan Forte

Subject: RE: Apology...

Not to worry, Senator. We all have difficult days—more so all the time, it seems, with the popularity of Gavrisom's agenda seeming to make Senators like us into anachronisms. I also should not have been so short tempered, considering how the President seems to have abused your trust on this measure. I am willing to discuss the tax reform measure with you at some point, although Gavrisom and the others are right that I don't think it can be implemented, now, until FY22 at the earliest. Something tells me I won't be in the Senate that long, the way things are looking on Ralltiir. If not, I do hope you'll pursue the bill, and the broader opposition agenda.

Regards.

Eli Fitzgerald
Senator of Ralltiir (10 BBY—Present)

"I was elected to do some flamethrowing in the Senate. To a light a fire under those Senators and make it hot for them."
