The Injustice was floating in a deep space somewhere outside the Moddell sector, along with the escorts of the Marauder corvettes Fury and Grievous. The reason the Lucian Alliance fleet was sitting outside the sector was to avoid detection of the New Republic defense forces. Netan stood, looking out the window of the command bridge inside the Injustice. He then turned around and looked into the eyes of his seconds. Netan knew from their eyes that a lot of people would call him crazy, but he didn't care. Crazy barely described Netan, the leader of the ruthless Lucian Alliance.

"You know what to do, men. The only real threats at Endor are the Republic ships around the area. That's assuming there's any. In addition to the ships, the communication relays on the surface would also serve a vital point for the Republic. Once we drop out of hyperspace, scan the area for the ship. Once we detect the ships, do not hesitate or give them a chance to surrender because they will fight to the end." Netan took a moment's pause to look at his seconds, before resuming his voice. "Once you have completed the scan and pinpoint their locations, jam their transmissions. Our y-wings will take care of whatever fighters the Republic have stationed at Endor. Once the Republic forces' dealt with, the Injustice will land, and then we deploy the strike teams to capture the Ewoks. Do not forget to keep the blasters to stun, we don't want to kill them. They're worth more alive than dead. I figure we would have to speed things up when we captures the Ewoks before possible reinforcements would arrive. Dismiss, men."

His seconds would immediately scatter out of the command bridge and get to the Marauders. "Send the pilots to the hangar bay and have them stay in the cockpits of the Y-wings. We need them to be launched the moment we drop out of hyperspace." An order was issued throughout the small fleet. Netan would grin evilly, looking out the window. He has always believed that the Rebel Alliance's victory at the infamous Battle of Endor was lucky, the Emperor had simply been overconfident in his starfleet. He would want the Lucian Alliance's victory at Endor to prove that the New Republic can be brought down, even though the defense at Endor might be very little.

After a time of preparation, his fleet was primed and ready to go. "Weapons at maximum?" "Yes, sir." "Shields at maximum?" "Yes, sir." "Everybody accounted for?" "Yes, sir." Netan was pleased at how his preparation has gone over. "Put us into hyperspace en route to Endor." A crewman nodded, as the Strike was the first one to go as the Marauders followed. They were en route to Endor.

The hyperspace travel should be short, as they waited for a beeping to indicate that they've approached the Endor system. The coordinates he have installed throughout the fleet was Endor itself. A beeping was heard throughout the fleet. "Drop us out of hyperspace, let's give them a big surprise." The Strike had emerged out of hyperspace first, then the Marauders came second. The Lucian Alliance fleet would begin to scan the area right away, trying to find any Republic warships and the communication relays so the transmissions could be jammed. Meanwhile, the Y-Wings were deployed just in the case they would have to meet with any fighter resistances. The weapons were already at maximum, so were the shields.

Raventhorn Air Field, wasn't really an air field. Well, it hadn't been for about six years. The Republic had established this outpost with two squadrons of fighters, each with its own air field. When they downsized, Raventhorn was abandoned when the first squadron was shipped off to who knows where. Orrimaarko housed what was left of the other squadron, which had slowly been dwindled down as the Republic needed fighters elsewhere. They had the intent to replinish the squadron, but they were forgotten in the bureaucracy. Two Lieutenants, who were good but without combat experience piloted the two A-Wings. Orrimaarko was old and rundown, but still operational. Raventhorn wasn't operational yesterday when they arrived. But this was where the General secured their billet. On the Shuttle that departed the Venerable when they arrived was the General and his staff, as well as a squad of Starfighter Corps Special Operators. More or less the NRSC's special forces, these guys had Raventhorn up and running in under six hours. Three hours later, camoflauge covered the place and a sensor jammer was in place. Unless you walked right into it, you couldn't tell anything was there but very dense jungle, whicht he rest of the terrain around it was. Impractical for landing anything, and away from anything important, the clearing that was made for Raventhorn was made so it would not attract attention.

The special operators worked all night, and when the squadron went to bed, they didn't even have lighting. The special operators decided to wake them a 0700 with the lights, revealing running clean water, all power restored, and even a hot breakfast. Right now, they were getting some sleep while Squadron maintainance crews were working on the ships. The pilots of Rascal Squadron were merely relaxing in the runway, doing various things from lying down in chair, playing catch, making a holovid for personal record or home, writing, even reading or sleeping. Leigh herself was working out. Some music was playing in the backgroun but she couldn't make out what it was, but it had a nice beat, which she could hear, for her tempo on the heavy bag. Then a single klaxon broke the ease they were sinking into. An alert from command, which by the time they hit the CIC, the special operators were already up and running. The guys were incredible.

"Enemy inbound from orbit. Medium capital ship, two lights...and fifteen heavy hitters...Y-Wings?" said one of the guys. "Probably some merc group. Let's kcik the skids." she said. Within two minutes, they were all to their craft which were ready to go. "Break, break, break...Rascal Lead, we have update from command. Kill the fire, repeat, kill the fire." said the comm in her helmet. "What the hell?" she said quickly back. "General's orders. He wants us to wait. Power down, but put your craft on standby...son of a bitch..." said the combat controller. "What it is?" she said tensely as she hit the controls, along with the other pilots that would render their heat signatures undetectable, even to a low flyby. "These guys from Razor Squadron...they're launching." he said. "So, probably going to do a scout run." she responded. "No...they have same ordered to stand by. They're launched and rocketing into orbit." he responded. She shook her head. 'Undisciplined fools...' she thought to herself. As she did, the two A-Wings, coming out of Orrimaarko, headed straight for the Y-Wings. Lieutenant Kal Reegar signaled to the enemy. "Unidentified craft, you are on an aggressive vector towards a New Republic protected planet. Re-direct to 00119.8, or we will be force to engage you." he said.

The Lucian Alliance fleet was scanning the Endor for any signs of enemy ships. Netan would be standing still, looking over the large window of the bridge inside the Injustice. The weapons were already at maximum, as are the shields. Fury and Grievous did the same thing, scanning the area for enemy ships. After a couple of minutes passed, a radar officer spoke up. "The Grievous had detected a small Republic warship, if I had to assume based on its size, I would say a Corellian Gunship." Netan immediately looked at the radar officer, "Lock the signal and have the fleet fire right away." His tone was very cold, so cold that the Lucian Alliance officers under him still shivers after all those time spent with him. Moments later, the gun turrets and cannons went ahead and fired toward the surface, where the Corellian Gunship is presented at.

Meanwhile, the Inglorious squadron, recently named, had signaled the fleet that the Republic had put out a warning. Netan scoffed, "Our men already know what to do. Simply follow the orders." Within moments, the squadron did not choose to answer. The men piloting the Y-Wings might not have official military experience, but they had fought on many space skirmishes against both the Remnant and the Republic defense forces under several pirate organizations. Sergeant Jup Kendar, the squadron leader, had given the order to fire right away. "Netan does not have a lot of patience, let's impress him, men." The squadron began firing at the Rascal Squadron the moment they were in range. The Lucian Alliance does not waste time, and does not let up no matter how small the resistance is. It is time for the galaxy to witness that the Republic can be beaten.

Netan would watch from the window as the fire from the Lucian Alliance fleet comes raining down on one specific area, and that's where the lone Republic warship is stationed at. "Scan the areas for the communication relays, we need to take them out immediately, or the Republic would cower in fear by sending a large fleet to Endor."

The DP20 tried valiantly to get ready. However, her crew was out of practice, and the process was slow. By the time they were powered up, but not fueled up, the orbital fire began to rain down. It was sporadic at best, at first, as the enemy tried to find their mark. However, the DP20 took a few hits before its shields came up, nothing critical, but it would hamper their performance a little. However, what was unshielded, albeit heavily armored, were the fuel tanks that were currently running fuel into the gunship. Being as the pirates wouldn't be the best shots in the world, the small surface dock facility was taking a beating, including the tanks. One shot was placed perfectly in the tanks, that caused one, and then all of them blow, sending the explosion through the lines and into the Gunship itself, and shielded or not, the gunship was ripped apart by the blast throughout its entire hull. The dock facility was completely destroyed, with all hands lost. Fifteen minutes into the battle, things were not going good.

Over in the command center, General Rayl'skar shook his head, as he watched the two A-Wings attempt to take on the fifteen enemy Y-Wings, and then the destruction of the surface dock and DP-20. It was shocking too that the enemy knew of the alert sent out, as military encoded communications were hard to slice into, and no attempt of such was noticeably made. But it could have been just that no one was paying attention. His attention was diverted for a moment as a communication came across the comm station. "This is New Republic *static* Krakana. We are en route from *static* arrival, ten minutes." said the communication. It was extremely garbled. "Sergeant, can you clear that up?" he asked, in a terse tone. "No sir, that's with full enhancement. Most of our communications array was at the durface dock. Interstellar communications to and from here will now be difficult." he said. The signal would most certainly be lost at Sullust, which would put their men there in overdrive to deploy.

Razor Squadron would attack the now identified Inglorious Squadron. However, Razor Squadron was only to A-Wings. While they were able to last several minutes, the two A-Wings were destroyed, and not a single fighter from Inglorious Squadron was destroyed, but probably damaged to some degree. At this point, Senesca was ready to fight. She hated loosing people...she had enough of it throughout the war, and now was faced with it again against some uppity pirate group. Soon, her comm would cackle to life once more. "This just in from command. Intelligence Officer has confirmed, these guys are from the Lucian Alliance pirate group." said one of the special operators. At this, Senesca clinched her teeth. She had heard what these guys had done...killing hundreds of innocents just to make themselves rich off of others because they were too lazy or stupid to commit to a legitimate job. At this moment, something good happened. Up above, on the starboard side of the enemy force, a ship dropped out of hyperspace, completely battle ready, with shields up and weapons armed. It was the Rascal's "base of operations", the Nebulon-B2 Frigate Venerable, under command of Captain Jade Paddox. Its seven turbolasers began firing into the Fury and Grievous, with its three dual heavy turbolaser turrets and warhead launcher firing into the Injustice.

Captain Paddox would send a simple message to the enemy across an open channel. "Come on you cowards, lets see who'll win this fight." her voice would say across the comms of all three capital ships and fifteen Y-Wings. Her arrival was Senesca's que. Immediatly, Rascal Squadron erupted from the airfield, and screamed full speed into orbit. The twelve Series II E-Wings would come bursting through the atmosphere towards the Y-Wings. From below Inglorious Squadron's position, the E-Wings would head in, firing away the moment they came into range.

Netan would smirk as the orbital bombardment had been effective, even though the pirates don't shoot like soldiers. The DP-20 gunship had been exploded not due to enemy fire but the explosion of the nearby tank caused by enemy fire. The Lucian Alliance would press on the orbital bombardment, and the Inglorious squadron had taken care of the Razor squadron, but there had been a new reinforcements coming in to aid the already depleted Republic force. A Nebulon-B2 Frigate had dropped out of hyperspace and began firing right away at the Lucian Alliance fleet. There's also a squadron of E-Wings coming their way to engage with the Inglorious squadron. "This is the battle I was expecting to happen." Netan said to himself, then cleared his throat so he could relay a message to the rest of the fleet. "Form a circle around that frigate. Let's block it from escaping, it's going to be an useful addition to the Lucian Alliance. Press hard!"

The Fury and the Grievous had already moving in the opposite direction, in order to surround Venerable. The Injustice had pressed on the fire toward the frigate, meanwhile the Inglorious squadron would split up. One half would take care of the E-Wings, and the another half would take care of the Rascal squadron. The Y-Wings did not hesitated to press on the engagement. "We better not lose." He said to his new second-in-command, Frank, whose rank was promoted after Netan killed his precedessor.

---------------------------------------------
((Just to clarify, Rascal Squadron are the E-Wings))

The twelve Series II E-Wings scattered in a starburst maneuver, which brought them qiuckly to the outside of the group of seven Y-Wings, assuming that eight would be attacking the Venerable, and then quickly slashed into them, firing away at their tagrets with near perfect accuracy. As they came in closer, with locks obtained, seven of the E-Wings went right onto the tails of the Y-Wings and fired a proton torpedo at each of them at close range, leaving little room to evade, while the others flew in front of the Y-Wings to provide bait.

The Venerable meanwhile, used its Turbolasers to keep the Y-Wings at bay, while the dual heavy turbolaser turrets fired upon the Fury and Greivous. Since they were Marauder Corvettes, they had a formidable amount of firepower, but their shields were not so much. The Venerable's guns took turns on focusing on one or the other, attempting to keep them at bay and preventing a boarding attempt. While doing this, the missle launcher was steadily firing into the Injustice. Captain Paddox was good, had nine years of capital ship combat experience as a commander, and even more as a crew member. On top of that, she had maintained largely the same crew over extended periods of time. They knew the best was expected of them, and gladly arose to the occassion. They constantly maintained an ever present state of alertness, and excellence in naval gunnery among the other combat operations a naval vessel would undertake. The 150 Marines stationed aboard were some of the best, and now at the ready to repel boarders, should the time come. Considering they were pirate, it would no doubt happen soon, and the Marines were experts in their field, maintaining expert proficiency on their weapons. The crew itself was also ready to repel, each of them always keeping their sidearm on them, maintaining a marksman proficiency with their pistols. They all lived by a creed when it came to pirates. "Don't give up the ship."

Netan would express a sense of frustration, which was clearly shown. All of sudden, he went from being happy with the progress to frustrated that the Republic had pull a tactic that no doubt could cripple his fleet. Netan is a man of pride, but even he wouldn't be so foolish to lose his fleet over a few Ewoks. The Lucian Alliance leader had no choice but to order retreat. It may be too late for the Inglorious squadron, as they had little room to evade. It's not only that the E-Wings clearly are superior to the Y-Wings, but that those pilots seems to be experienced at this. Netan himself may have seen his share of battle, but many of his pirates are inexperienced. The Inglorious squadron was the evidence of this, as they were unable to shake themselves from the proton torpedoes. "Retreat!" Netan begrudingly gave orders. That was all he would say to his fleet, as the Inglorious squadron got themselves destroyed by the Rascal squadron. The Injustice was the first one to move away, then the Fury and the Grievous followed.

While retreating, each warship would be going at the maximum speed and firing back toward the Nebulon-B frigate to keep the Republic at the distance. Clearly, the Lucian Alliance had lost this battle. However, this would probably best for the Lucian Alliance in the long run. They do not need to lose the entire fleet over puny Ewoks. "Enter into hyperspace on my mark." Netan sounded like he had to swallow his pride just so that his people would stay alive to fight another day. After a few moments of waiting, he'd give the orders. The Injustice would enter into hyperspace, as the Fury and the Grievous would follow. It was time for Netan to seek out allies, in order to have more successful campaigns against the Republic...and to earn more profits.

A single Lambda-class shuttle had sat at the very edge of the system, far out beyond normal sensor range with the majority of its systems powered down. With passive sensors and hi-resolution video, it had captured the images of the camera, only coming to life at the very end of the battle as the Lucian Alliance departed; the shuttle itself making a hyperspace exit likely long before any sensors could get a good bead upon it. They might know something was out there; they might even know it was a shuttle, but to whom it belonged and its purpose, there was no clue.

Lim Hejin was a troubled man. His orders had come from one man, and now, a second man who appeared as nothing more than a swirling shadow over the hologram and spoke with a deep voice that sounded far too much like Vader gave him new orders. For a time now, he and a small team had been shadowing the activities of the Lucian Alliance. Their latest setback was just what his employer had been hoping for. When he arrived in the Outer Rim, he was to send a coded message to the Lucian leader and then jump out-system once more.
