What is proper is not always what is right, my friend, but in this case it appears to be so. If the boy's account of events is true, as it appears to be, then the law will exonerate him. If his account isn't true, then it is ever the more prudent to turn him in. We must trust in the law. Once the boy is cleared, as I'm sure he will be, feel free to invite him for instruction at the Academy. Perhaps, if you vouch for his character to the police as you have to me, he will be that much more inclined to seek from us some training on the responsible use of his abilities and, one hopes, the development of his potential.

I'm sure that there will be no problems with this Aqualish affair, certainly not of the sort that has been in the news of late. The security forces will have some questions for the boy, no doubt, but assuming he is innocent he will not be detained for more than an hour at most.
