From space, the world looks like a giant floating brown turd. The major spaceport used by all the usual space liners was in Cambar, the capital city of the world. On the surface, smog and mining operations dominate the world. It isn't the prettiest of places, even if there is a travel brochure from the liner that brags about the crystal forest. If Garik was here looking for Tarodal, it was going to be hard to find him here. Of course, being in the Calipsa province, it isn't the wrong place to start the search for the enigmatic "Lord Tarodal", although if one is a fan of irony, one would laugh considering Tarodal just arrived on Coruscant, in the time that Cobra Taipan had been residing in the hospital still, even.
Of course, once one got past the spaceport and inner city Cambar, one saw the novel royalty in which the members of House Calipsa lived, while most of the people on at least this mine infested planet lived in mostly dirty squalor. The noble district is much nicer, the roads are nicer, the clothes the people are wearing on nicer, young men and women dot the streets, hanging out in hole in the wall cantinas, with street performers on a few corners as one went on a tour of Cambar.
Tarodal had become something of a House Calipsa legend so at least those in the noble station would at least know of him, if one were to ask around. The higher up on the societal totem pole one got, one knew more about the bodyguard that had caught the attention of a whole Tapani House, and a few general conjectures could be formed about him from the information the general populace might divulge about him.
- It's rumored that Juark, the head of the House, was trying to marry his daughter Jind'al to Tarodal
- Tarodal hasn't been seen on Jinda, the world where the ruling portion of Calipsa usually spends its time.
- Jind'al is attending an elite academy on Jinda
- There is some big Calipsa family meeting occuring in the near future in Cambar
- The Republic is a hot topic among the general populace
- The farther away from actually having encountered Tarodal, the more rumors persist that he is a lone Jedi, on some mission
- He's a retired Mandalorian doing penance for his crimes
- Jind'al is rumored to be pregnant, and so Tarodal was sent away
In general, people aren't unwilling to be asked questions about Tarodal, because he is a province celebrity.
