As you may have heard by now that the Lucian Alliance had tried to compete with your people on spice trade on Taris, no doubt this may have strained the relationship between our people greatly...even if there is one at all. I am here to make amends on that. I am here to propose a deal to the Hutt Cartel. By now, the resources is running pretty low for us. I have no intentions of asking the Hutt Cartel to give us resources. However, my warships need a place to dock as to get the refueling going and a professional service to keep the ships from falling apart. Almost every shipyards in the galaxy are being owned by either the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant. Your shipyards in the Hutt space is the only place I can think of using without getting captured by the New Republic. We cannot go there unless the Lucian Alliance can be granted a safe passage every time we enter the Hutt Space. Now, I'm smart enough to know that you, Njon the Hutt, would want something in return for this. What the Hutt Cartel gets in return would be this: Lucian Alliance stop competing with the Hutt Cartel on the drug trade and take our drug trade somewhere else, and leave the Cartel's operations alone completely. I may be known as a ruthless leader, but I can be reasonable. If there's something else the Hutt Cartel wants in order for this deal to be made, respond and I'll see if I can meet your demands. I look forward to hear from you soon, Njon the Hutt.

H'chu apenkee, Netan. Or should I call you "Netan the Human," since you insist on calling me "Njon the Hutt"? I should warn you, my friend—da beesga coo palyeeya pityee bo tenya go kaka juju hoopa. But I too can be reasonable, so let us move on to business. To be honest with you, Netan the Human, I can't decide if your proposal is a friendly one or if it is a threat. But because I am reasonable, as I said, and because that troupe of yours—the "Lucian Alliance," wasn't it?—is puny in comparison to the might of the Hutt Empire, I will do you the favor of assuming your offer is friendly. However, I am not satisfied that your organization actually could compete with mine if it attempted to do so. I seem to recall that it did attempt to do so, with tragic results.

Do understand, my friend, that I don't hold a grudge against you. But understand, also, as a businessman I must have a better proposal than simply a promise not to do something that you're not capable of doing anyway. However, I'm feeling generous, so I will grant you permission to use the port over Sriluur and we will discuss a satisfactory arrangement when you arrive. Goopta mo bossa, Netan.
