| Since I'm restarting with Novak here, I figured I'd ask for the following, since it is in his background. As a note, the vessels here requested would (hopefully) come with a predetermined number of Clone War era droids from the period of time near the attack on Coruscant by Grievous. The numbers and damages I leave to management to make fair. 2x Venator vessels 4x Acclamator vessels The starfighters within would be modified Republic-era snubfighters of the day, modified to have droid brains.

| I've read your character background, and as Jory originally said with you posted your profile on AGW at MSN, kudos for the innovative and well written storyline. As then, though, give me just another day to get in contact with the other managers and seek their opinions on it (and also to review the original discussion at MSN, which is on Multiply and which I was reading yesterday, but can't seem to find now). So give me just another day or two, in case you thought you were being ignored. Jace Varitek

| I find no problem nor fault detectable and motion to APPROVE the request.

| It's quite a few ships though for one man, which is my only reason for being apprehensive. What do you envision Novak doing with them, over the course of the RP? You understand me being reluctant, because it's potentially a lot of destructive firepower. Jace Varitek

| Well, to begin with, I have tried to show (in my RP posting so far) the major flaws in the ships thus far. Odds are I'll have to sell or cannibalize one or more of the vessels. The true point of them was to have a bargaining chip for whichever side Novak chooses to join (or especially if he decides to remain by himself). I tried to do my best to limit the actual use of troops and/or ship-to-ship combat. Personally I'd like to see Novak in more of a political light, but his background makes it rather difficult (not to mention his outdated views on the political system) to actually work in the political arena. I guess it was more of a cheap way to buy his friends. The main factor(s) I was betting on were: 1) I'm rusty as hell as TB. Echuu could probably beat my blind and only typing with his feet. 2) I tried to use older model snubfighters so that, even with the addition of droid brains, they could still be outdone without too much difficulty by today's present ships and pilots. Odds are with most advances in droid technology, the droid ships of today could outdo those on the snubfighters. 3) The troops and battle droids on the Acclamators do constitute a threat by numbers primarily. However, it's the outdated tech and extra use as a way to gain credits that I wanted to use them primarily for. Overall, I plan to be responsible and not go cavorting around the galaxy randomly stomping on hapless populations.

| I do believe too many people have too high a confidence in my writing lol. Nonetheless, I like the aspect that Novak's arsenal presents for darksiders. Not only is this sort of like a temporary command fleet for darksiders, but it presents a unique rallying point for the darkies that are within the group. To date, I think their are four of us--and while we can't necessarily be as active in Jedi plots for lack of Jedi, it does present a facet with which to create an interesting plot when the Jedi inevitably pick up.

| I agree with you on that, Echuu. I mean, in the majority of the SWRPs I've been in, the darksiders are either heavily undercover for fear of being discovered by the Jedi or sporting massive armadas that would more than equal the Imperial Fleet at its height (though this site is different). I tried to find a middle line between too much badassery and not enough. Speaking of the fleet, I'll need to actually point out numbers and types of droids in a request, but I still have to go through some stuff to sort out.

| Well, I'm sold. Although I would still prefer slimming it down to perhaps 2 Acclamators, rather than 4. I figure that should still amount to plenty of political capital, and actual capital if you decide to sell them, as you mentioned. Is that a fair edit? Jace Varitek

| Since I've kind of already used them in play, can I have on burn up on entry into wherever Tyra is taking Novak and the other one too damaged for anything other than scrap? That way I loose the ships, but not the entire cargo on-board.
