With a military record under his belt and an eye for politics, Ryuun spent his time playing the political field during Palpatine's reign. By the time of the Battle of Endor, Ryuun had become a successful planetary governor; ruling the people with as much freedom as he could under the Imperial manner and smashing any of his adversaries within the political realm ruthlessly as any Imperial Admiral. With the rise of the New Republic, Ryuun decided to remain apart from both Remnant and Republic, choosing to wait and see which side would come out atop before committing to a cause.
