| Ok, so this might sound odd, but due to a marked shortage of easily-available darkside-type characters who are on on a regular basis, I would like, over time and, play elements allowing, for Novak to gain a following of perhaps 15-20 darkside force users for the purpose of his cause of gathering darksiders to 'civilize' them. This would all be RPd out and not all at once. I was just trying for pre-approval. Of course, there will be fatalities and such which will thin the numbers.

| I would be comfortable approving perhaps two, because of their potential for catastrophic effect on the RP (which I'm not saying is your intention, but there's that potential). To my knowledge, we've never really approved many more than that. I also think having so many Dark Siders in the hands of a Sith could pose an implicit contradiction of the canon, which suggests most Dark Siders in this time period are essentially fallen Jedi and not exactly a dime a dozen. Which is not to say that Novak can't seek out Force sensitives to train from scratch (that's what Cambrist is doing, afterall), but I think having an organized "following" of Dark Siders would be problematic, most especially if it's public. But again, I would be comfortable with perhaps two, as a sort of entourage. Jace Varitek

| I'd appreciate two for an entourage. Seeking out Force sensatives as a plot would actually be better, because it opens up opportunities for the Jedi to grab them away frm Novak as well.

| I recall having this similar discussion with Jace in relation to the Acolytes of Deimos on Dagobah (Which Havoc systematically wiped out) and I recall brokering the idea of having perhaps 1-2 accompanying Deimos to Borosk for whatever plot I had developing there (currently on hold as is). I similarly seem to recall a problem with the idea (and an apprehension on both our parts) as to having proficient (even modestly) force users, and thereby, it was discussed that it would be better if one acquired the pupils rather then having them aforementioned. That being said, I fully concur with the idea, and thereby motion to DENY the request. While I think it might it is not a far stretch to allow 1-2 followers to accompany Novak, I similarly think that at this time, with so few Darksiders existing pre-Palpatine, and most "falling to the darkside" that any pupils that Novak finds would have to be taught and instructed in the dark arts, thereby negating the need for this request since his RP would illustrate the acquisition.

| You both have points, and I fully intend to RP out the acquisition of both. The reason for the request was to make sure it would be allowed more than anything.

| I am not opposed to having maybe two at the maximum. I think it is concievable to allow that many, afterall, all the Jedi were supposedly accounted for during and after the Purge and yet several seem to have surfaced afterward. I vote to APPROVE.

| More all the time, in fact! (canonically speaking). As the Star Wars literature has expanded, the list of Jedi who have survived the Purge continues to grow larger and larger as new characters are made. I think there's well over a dozen now, even though the films said rather specifically, originally, that Yoda and Ben were the only survivors. Now it seems like the "Great Jedi Purge" was more like the "Rather Large Jedi Scathe." However, I agree with Echuu insofar as these followers of Novak should indeed be trained "from scratch." | Could I perhaps train one from scratch and have one come semi-trained? I've noticed at present that the two characters I have are extremely tied up with little posting, so I could turn one NPC into a more active player when they're stuck. Heck, even my npc ship is tied up. lol

| I'm more then willing to vote in favor for this... provided that they both come un-trained. Partially trained to me means fully trained. That way, it adds to the RP, and if you think about it, how close of a bond Novak would grow to them. Prehaps favor one over the other? I dunno, it's your plot, not mine. But that's what I think.

| You make good points Havoc. I just need someone I can play since Novak is all tied up at the moment. lol. Figured my guy might as well be tied in. But yeah, I see where you're comin' from.

| Perhaps you can say, retroactively, that one of them was recruited perhaps some weeks ago, between Novak's "reawakening" and his trip to Druckenwell (which could be presented in terms of "flashbacks" and selective editing of old posts)? That way, by this point in time you could have at least one who is reasonably well trained, or at least enough to hold his own. Just a suggestion, that is, if it's approved. Jace Varitek
