Aricia grew up in a small house with just her and her mother. It was not the childhood her mother, Helen had pictured for her, not the life she had seen for herself. Jory had promised to return to her. Aricia was the result of young love. Helen had loved Jory with all her heart, and she had given it to him to the very end. But things transpired out of her control or even his. He went to school, served in the military and then began to represent his planet in the Republic. Helen did not have the courage to contact him, to tell him herself about the beautiful daughter they had made together. She had sent letters, only one of them detailing the fact they had a daughter, but Jory never recieved them. He never learned about the child he had.

Years passed and Aricia turned into a beautiful young woman. She had everything she needed until one day. Aricia did well in school, even though there were things happening around her that should of kept her down. She lived in a nice part of town in a two bedroom house with her mother, until the day came where her world came crashing down around her. She had just returned home from school that day, the moment she opened the door she knew something was wrong.

She still does not speak about her mother's death. No one knows the true details of it but her. She was sent to find her father, who did not believe she was his daughter. That is where her history ends and the futures begins. Does she have a chance to get to know the man who is her father or will he push her to the side in disbelief?
