ABOUT HIM:
The child of the Muunilinst aristocracy, Victor Mallix is a Muun accountant, banker and noted economist who rose diligently through the ranks of the Intergalactic Banking Clan to eventually become its Chairman (largely because much of the Board was killed, fired or exiled throughout the Clone Wars and the rise and fall of the Empire). He is known to be more aggressive, both in his demeanor and in business, than much of his species; a trait that he paid for dearly when he made a billions credit loan to a planet subsequently destroyed by the Empire. The IGBC, unable to retrieve its losses, stripped Mallix of his Chairmanship and exiled him from Muunilinst (a common practice).
Vastly wealthy in both credits and financial expertise, Mallix did not have to search long for his next job. The Pentastar Alignment, with its famously robust economy and private sector, sought out the Muun despite his species and made him the first nonhuman Director of Finance, and the Chief Economic Advisor to Grand Moff Ardus Kaine (he continues to serve in this capacity to Kaine's successor, Wolfram Konig). Mallix has since become well regarded in the Alignment's corporate and political sphere, stewarding the economy professionally, and successfully after the tumultuous death of Kaine and the transition of power that followed.
Mallix currently resides in an estate North of Eriadu City, where the plains remind him of his native Muunilinst. However, he finds the pollution on the planet objectionable, and rarely goes outside.
