Extra Information
The Pawn-series droids were a special commission kept quite under the table through Ravak & Larben's Droidworks and Foundry section, allowing Drasek Cale and Treylon Voss to build up a small defense force that could, if need be, be explained as training aids for Cale. 'Conveniently,' a number were 'stolen,' though this was never reported to the New Republic. Of course, these twenty ended up in Voss' hands.
Using a non-standard droid brain with different learning circuits, the droids Voss owns, as well as those Cale has, are quite adept in most forms of lightsaber combat, although they use weapons that are hardly similar. With such breakthroughs in technology, the blades they wield are relatively light, yet strong enough to withstand blaster bolts at close range, allowing them a measure of protection extra as they close with an enemy. Able to be heated as well to high temperature from an internal unit, their final specialty is a small gravity-based addition in the haft of the blade that activates at the striking of blade against any object, allowing it to deliver crushing blows with a minimum of force in the swing. When combined with the strength and speed of the droids, these swords are no laughing matter.
The droids themselves have a number of sensor units upon their body, working together to cover a nearly three-hundred and sixty degree of vision, making it a difficult task to ambush one up close. The armor that covers them is thick, though not impenetrable by any stretch of the imagination. It would not be fair to say they could withstand a shot from a starfighter cannon, but this was not their intended purpose. Lightsabers, of course, do their standard damage to the extremities, but the reinforced armor upon the chest would likely make a stab inefficient.
Outside of these properties, any modifications to droids will be noted on an individual basis, though Voss' are not modified.
