Born on Coruscant, Jonus grew up in one of the poorer districts. It was during the reign of the Galactic Empire; which had thus far cracked down on crime and prostitution on Coruscant. Through a series of Xenophobic propaganda, the giant machine that was a mockery of Democracy chastised those that had relations with any sentient species other then human. Coruscant became a desolate planet full of humans with anger and hatred towards Aliens. That was the world he grew up in.
Jonus grew up as part of one of the many xenophobic-gangs that existed in lower Coruscant. Through acts of violence and persecution, the boy grew up understanding that only humans were righteous, and only humans were truly worthy of living. One night, during a raid of the Alien-Stronghold, Jonus stumbled upon a Rodian woman cradling her child. She chided something to him, trying to get him to stop the onslaught, but Jonus couldn’t understand the language. She was shot in the face at point blank, her children sold to the Hutts on Tatooine. It was on Tatooine that everything failed.
Ever since youth Jonus had an affinity with flying crafts, so there was little for him that was difficult aboard a ship. Yet when the ship touched down, it was the Hutts that he was unprepared for. An auto-turret activated just as the loading ram had touched down and his friends disembarked. Opening fire, it poked holes through the bodies of the humans, cutting through the thin tissue and scarring bone. The Hutts were ruthless, and killed everyone – including the slaves – that left the ship. Acting quickly, Jonus managed to raise the ramp, but not before he had lost almost all of his friends, save for three.
At the age of 20 Jonus left Coruscant to explore the stars. It was during his journeys that he met a man named Aaron Rawls. A deceitful and conniving person; just the type of person that Jonus was used to. Mr. Rawls and Mr. Quin became the closest of friends, even going so far as to join the same ship together. Yet it was a short lived adventure, for at the age of 23, Jonus was arrested – ironically – on his homeplanet of Coruscant for possession of illegal drugs and public intoxication. He didn’t stay in jail long, breaking out and hiding out in Brown Sector to escape the authorities... your move – the force.
