| Many of you already know this, but I figured I should make it known here for those who don't that I've been feeling spectacularly sick these last few days—so much so it's been rather hard for me to post, with the exception of Senate posts which are not as demanding for me as others. Suffice to say, it's hard to concentrate to get in a creative mindset when all I'm thinking about is throwing up. Jaron pointed out to me the other day that the Coruscant Journal forum, specifically the dates of the most recent articles, gives you an idea of when I came down with this and stopped posting as much as I had been. I'm just letting you know this, and the details of it, so you know I've not forgotten to post. Circumstantially, it seems likely that this is a reaction to a medication that they put me on at about the same time I became sick. I gave it a few days to see if it would go away, and since it hasn't I'll have to look into what to do about this medication (i.e. see a doctor, which I can't do until Monday, sadly). Not that I won't be posting until Monday, mind you—I do intend to post tonight and this weekend, but I've intended to post quite a lot and I don't seem to. Under the circumstances, I ask you guys bear with me for a couple more days. And because everything can be illustrated with cats, here.

| Also, you might be asking yourself, "But didn't Jace say he was going pub crawling last night? He wouldn't do that if he's sick." Correction: he shouldn't do that if he's sick. This is a distinction I learned the hard way, since I became very, very sick when I got back and I've been basically dazed on my couch ever since. And all I had were two margaritas and a Negra Modelo! (I confess, however, the margaritas were huge. But I have a higher tolerance for alcohol than that). So yeah, it turns out—I just read on the internets a few minutes ago—that this medication they prescribed me doesn't get along with alcohol. In other words, this medication is bullshit. I wouldn't care if I were Tony Stark, dying from palladium poisoning, and only one medication could save me; if I couldn't drink alcohol with it, forget it. Come to think of it, this would probably be especially true if I were Tony Stark of all people. But yeah, as I mentioned before, I was going to see a doctor on Monday, but as it happens Monday is Labor Day and, you know, people don't get sick or have emergencies or anything on Labor Day. I guess. Point is, I'm just going to stop taking it now and see what happens. I've been off it a few hours now and I'm already feeling much, much better (except that it's 6 in the morning, I haven't slept, and I'm wired like Faisal Shahzad's Nissan Pathfinder). But I can't stress enough how good it feels to, well, feel good. And I'm hungry, too! I've never been so happy to be hungry, because the sensation of hunger vanished from me this last week—it sounds like a small thing, but when you do without it you realize how much you ♥ it. So yeah, that's what's up with me. Hopefully I'm actually feeling better and I won't, you know, die. But if I really am feeling better for sure, as I seem to be, I see no reason why I won't be back to posting later today, at long last, after I catch up on the sleep I'm not getting right now. And to that end, Jace fans, I bid you adieu. P.S. If I do die, AVENGE MY DEATH. I'm not sure how exactly though.
