Jinta, please relax. As Jace so eloquently said, its a mistake. Just as you say that you cannot just make a post stating that you know that the Senators are on Coruscant, I cannot just say that Senator Thanatos is suddenly hiding on a moon. Please take no offense to this, but until you emailed me last week, I had no idea that my character had been mentioned in your thread, nor did I know that she was being looked for. I did respond to all of that, as I said, and let you know what was going on with her and where she was. smile

Its easily doable, and as I said last week in my email, I would be more than happy to try and post wih you boys.

So relax. Post. Send Ilanah an encrypted communication or something and she will respond. No worries!

Ilanah R. Thanatos
Senator of Chandrila

I must again apologise for that out burst it's alot of things that are bugging me the lack of users on my thread i really thought it would get busier but things take its time, uhm ive already typed out a lengthy post that i will transfer to the thread it deals with everything that was said except the part about Thanatos and Fowlkes that'll come later, but for the other Jedi that will be found i'll be bringing Marcus Marek into the lime light.

(( I knew I said in my last post I was going to kick back and let Kal and Drace go at it for a few rounds, but I thought it might be helpful to point out a distinction between two different Force "shield" powers; 1.) Force Resistance, which "offer[s] some protection from direct Force Power attacks of Force-sensitive opponents.... This only offered protection for a limited time." 2.) Force Barrier, which "is capable of absorbing a wide variety of physical, energy or even melee-based attacks... Depending on the strength of the individual, the barrier could only withstand a few attacks before collapsing." So, one of these (Resistance) is a shield against Force attacks. The other one (Barrier) is a shield against physical attacks, lasers, sling-shots, titty twisters, Indian burns, Three Stooges-style pokes in the eye, etc. It might be useful if Drace is a little more specific and says which one of these Force powers he's using. ))

Drace, not sure what to make of your OOC message on the thread... but, if there is any doubt, I'd like to clarify in a managerial capacity that your character is in fact still on Prakith and subject to Imperial detention. Whether or not your interrogation still goes on is up to Aramier, but you are imprisoned by the Empire and will be until a rescue attempt is made, or a break out attempt on your part, that is RPed, not auto'd.

Well Orion in a short while within a couple of days a character ive used in the past (Marcus Marek) will be making his entrance in struggling for survival as a Bounty Hunter going after Drace who just happens to be in an Imperial prison. As for who has made the bounty im currently in negotiations with a user who is thinking about joining this site and will be playing the role of Jabba the hutt, with characterisation profile and extra.

Good to hear about Marcus Marek. As for this friend of yours, he's welcome to join of course and welcome to RP as a Hutt if he wants, but maybe you can let him know that he probably can't RP as Jabba the Hutt, specifically. The problem being that Jabba is a canon character and canon characters can't die, obviously, since they appear in later movies, books, etc., so it wouldn't be fair to other RPers. Also, in this time period, Jabba isn't in charge of the Hutt cartel yet, or even the Desilijic clan. He has a few years to go before he assumes power.

I would stand against a player taking the role of Jabba the Hutt in the RP, just for clarification. Only two canon characters thus far have been allowed; Boba Fett - who is used very, very, and I meam VERY rarely, and Sate Pestage - which has a precedent set from the previous timeline and I hope is obvious why he is player controlled. Both are controlled by players who Management trusts implicitly, and have proven themselves capable and responsible to such positions. For example, we had an issue with someone requesting to play Lando Calrissian in the previous timeline, in both time periods; however, this person was denied... several times. The point being, the privilege to play a canon character is given out so extremely rarely, I would not recommend playing Jabba to be a selling point in your talks to him.

Jinta, what I was saying to Drace, amounts to, until he is successfully rescued in an RP, he is stuck on Prakith and there is no way around it. So, while it is good you are introducing Marcus Marek to the new timeline, the fact remains, Drace's character can not participate in any threads until his escape; and he can not just pop into one following that, if it is successful, either. Jinta, you don't need a bounty on Drace to send a bounty hunter after him, either; just to clarify.

Seems to me we're all on the same page. I don't think Drace or Jinta have any expectation that it's going to be easy to free him, but that's all part of the fun, of course.

I just got off the phone with my friend of course i told him he can't play as a canon character, he took it good he assured me that he will recreate the name but he would like to play as a Hutt seeing as he cant play as Jabba.

As for my character Jinta he isnt planning a rescue attempt for Drace anytime in the near future hopefully my thread Struggling for survival keeps on going 10 pages must be a record.

When i bring back Marcus Marek he will strictly be a Bounty Hunter the life as a Jedi is in his past, he'll just be taking names and hunting heads.
