Seemed like there were a few issues, so I wanted to try and clear them up.

Technically speaking, Crin's hair is red, which could indeed refer to the Red Queen.

Ka Dek never actually stated, I believe, that his 'vision' was a direct prophecy; only a dream. He said he was gifted with prophecy.

the main problem is that you are claiming a gift of prophecy which is a rare gift without it being requested. Now i dont care about the dream he can go and dream about tangerine trees and marmalade skies for all I care, however the point being that this is a rare talent that is being claimed without having been requested and as such the problem I have revolves around the -demonstration- of that power, ie. Saying it is confirmed by other sources than just himself.

He can have the dream and he can claim to have a gift but unless its requested it should be left as his own word and not an official part of a document.

I have to agree with Trask here; at AGW we stress extensive amounts of time and effort put in to gleaning information about a character's plans/motivations. If Ka Dek had snooped around Volus for a time, dug up information and put the pieces together, then there wouldn't be a problem. As it stands though, since the power described above hasn't, in fact, been requested (not to mention the fact that Ka Dek just sitting around and having a vision revealing pretty well-kept secrets about a character isn't fair in the slightest), it really shouldn't be considered a legitimate "prophecy". I'll let Jace work things out, since he's told me he has a solution.

My solution was, I hope, the post I just made as Pestage. I prefer an IC solution when possible and Pestage saying he doesn't believe Ka Dek's vision seems like the easiest way to make it irrelevant for all intents and purposes here. For the record though, I do agree with just about everything Karth has said. True, he didn't state that it was a prophecy IC. But OOC, it clearly is, and as with slicing I think there have to be certain, reasonable limitations to how much a character is able to glean about the motivations and plans of another character. As Karth said, if some groundwork had been done—Ka Dek snooping around Volus a bit, talking to people, gathering the dots—and then connect the dots with this vision, I'd be okay with that. But because obtaining secret information from another character against that character's will is technically an "attack," in a turn based sense, the character needs some ability to counter it. See my long winded thoughts on slicing for what I think is an analogous situation.

That said though, it was just a dream of random images of sleeping while the Cspan channel is on. Not an actual prophesy by any means, and if you note it is actually wrong in all respects and predicts nothing in particular.

I mean I am pretty sure Crin and her friends aren't planning to become Jedi Knights and take over Volus? Who on earth is the crone? etc etc.

I should clarify, it was just a dream, not a prophesy.
