A long and frustrating story cut short, I will be without an internet connection for one to three months. I know it comes at one of the worst times possible in terms of the RP, and I wish it was avoidable, but regrettably, it is not. Sorry guys and gals, hope to see you all on the other side.

Sorry to hear that, man. I know you have a lot of internet problems and so often at a critical juncture, I know it must be frustrating for you. I really must advise you, though, to do one of two things; either 1.) stop dumpster-diving for modems, or 2.) seriously consider dropping this internet provider that keeps scandalously giving you defective modems. Or sue them, or something. No one should have to go through this. And if it's acts of god (i.e. storms, floods, tornadoes, etc.) that are causing this, consider making a deal with the devil. Because god's definitely pulling your tit here, and if he wants to go around doing that he really needs to start losing customers. Charlie Sheen was fired from Two-and-a-Half Men for dicking around, so it's only fair.

For the record though, when you do see this, I like how the rank insignias turned out after all (you'll recall that I was concerned about that, unnecessarily as it turns out). If you do happen to have a moment though, it'd be helpful if you could hop on here now and then to help us sort out what rank insignia belongs to what rank (things like "C-3" and "HC-5" aren't very comprehensible to me, and when I tried to match them up to the thread on the OOC forum, they didn't seem to correspond as I would expect).
