| While this action certainly warrants a full Management team discussion on the matter this evening when we are all online, at this moment, I am obligated to note that Deamora is still on Muunilinst, in a meeting room, with Gemmell. This is his location, and whether or not his Star Destroyer does indeed go rogue is another situation entirely, but you can not auto yourself out of an RP like this. So, until management can discuss this please refrain from posting on the Disappearing Act thread, but do feel free to continue the meeting with Gemmell.

| I've already made it clear multiple times, yet it seems no one understands the fact that I have no fucking interest in using Ali'Zarin any more. I wont be replying to the meeting with Gemmell because Ali'Zarin is useless. Everyone already has a problem with the character and how he was set up. All I wanted to do is get him off of the site so I can have time to work on him so maybe I might have some interest in the character and bring him back later.

| Might I suggest if you want a hiatus, he takes a personal leave of absence. Tis would be very convenient for us to sweep the massacre under the rug if he took an extended holiday. Running away with a ship doesn't solve anything and just assures a massive reaction. It's a massive ship, 20,000 men and billions of credits, the Empire won't let it disappear.

| Whatever alright. I dont want to use him until I have time to deal with the problems everyone is bitching about, about the character. Extended leave or what ever, I'll be damned though if I just let you all auto kill him or auto imprison him with out me getting a chance to try and fix him into a working character.

| Check yourself right away, Deamora. I will not allow any more childish, profanity laced, inappropriate outbursts on the forum from you. This is your final warning on this and I will hold zero tolerance foe it in the future from you. You are an adult, act like it. This has become outrageous and borders on insane. You especially need to know something of respect when responding to a Manager. This has been put up with long enough and will stand no more. We have rules, for a reason; learn them! Being overly obscene and inappropriate is against those rules, especially in OOC and especially when dropping multiple f-bombs. Your best bet right now is to shut up and wait for Managment discussion on the matter. I ask that everyone refrain from posting on this matter, please, until Management can get a handle on the situation.

Thread is closed. Jamie; for the time being, try not to incite any more hostility, it's bad for our health. And Deamora... take some time to cool down and we can settle this like rational adults, but Jaron's right - watch your mouth.
Though in this case I guess the more correct phrasing would be "watch your fingers", but I digress.

| The predictability of all this was a bit disappointing to me. When I glanced over the forum a few minutes ago, it was apparent that A.) Gemmell had been mildly disrespectful to Deamora in character, and this resulted in B.) an OOC post from Deamora, full of profanity, that has since been deleted. Then, C.) Deamora, frustrated at the criticism of his character, posted the "Disappearing Act" thread in order to distance Deamora from the RP while his background, etc. is sorted out. Not a bad idea really, except that D.) having a Star Destroyer disappear causes a lot of concerns, expressed by Karath, Karth, etc. on this OOC thread. Another frustrated post from Deamora ensued, succeeding somehow in making even our own, mild-mannered Karath angry, and understandably so. Correct me if I've gotten any of this wrong.
A few things. Carl, I understand your frustration about Deamora and it does seem like people have taken exception to the character and how he was set up (more the latter than the former, I think). But please remember this doesn't mean we're all your enemies and deserve to be treated like it. We aren't, and we don't. And Karath and Karth are right—the insults and profanity on the forum need to stop. No one does this to you, please don't do it to us. It is against the rules (Rule 1.6). We've already been more accommodating than most RP sites, but I don't think we can ignore this if/when it happens again. But moreover, it's not helping to solve the problem. So, as for solving the problem...
I think Jamie has the best suggestion—for Deamora to go on a leave of absense. Everyone (including Jamie) will respect this OOC as well as IC, so you can take your time sorting out the character. I'm sure we'll all cooperate if you want to reboot Deamora, but if so, do let us know please rather than changing his profile unexpectedly in mid-RP. And in the future, again, guard your goat so that people aren't able to get it as easily as they apparently are. Personally, I think this is good advice not just for the forum but for life generally. I don't recall "scream at your enemy in a blind rage" in Sun Tzu's The Art of War, for example. Or "scream at your friends in a blind rage," for that matter.

| If you want him to go on a leave of absence so you can work on him, I'm sure we'll all be fine with that. Really, it's not so much the character, I think, but rather the unexpected changes to the character over the course of the RP. All that might be needed, really, is a re-boot or re-introduction of sorts. But anyway, yeah, the leave of absence seems like the way to go. I can help you re-work him too, when you're ready to do it.

| Aye. If hes going on leave we can auto the gemmell meeting so he gave an accound and then took a voluntary sabbatical for however long he wants.
That being the case and if he is not going renegade we can someone delete the Gemmell post on Disappearing Act (or tge thread generally) and the message to Imperial Captains (which was to collect evidence for disappearing act).Added (05 Jun 2011, 5:55 Am)
