Dudes, we need to get to Arizona sometime, we'll have beach-front property.

17 paragraphs down the page...

"A monster California quake of magnitude 8 had only about a 4 percent probability — except in far Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. That area has a 10 percent chance of experiencing a magnitude 8 to 9 quake — Japan-sized — in the next 30 years."

So yeah, I'm not worried. And I'd rather die in California than live in Arizona.

4% is still a chance, man; but yeah, I'd rather not live in Arizona either.

Besides, if the fault did rupture, it'd take a million years or more before California really drifted apart from the rest of the US.

Unfortunately. We should secede. The U.S. just isn't where it's at anymore. It's all about the Asian markets... I'm sure they'd be glad to have the world's 8th largest economy trading with them on cozy terms. Plus, as a new country, we could erase that mound of debt we have. Just saying. I mean, no offense to the rest of the U.S. or anything, but you all kind of suck compared to us. Again, just saying.
