So, thing's been on my mind for awhile but I haven't really said anything. But I think the Shadowfeed has been used far too liberally in the last couple months. While it's convenient for rebels and separatists to be able to communicate with each other there, let's remember though that not every rebel has every Jedi's phone number, and vice versa, and not every separatist has every slaver's number, etc. I'm concerned that lately the Shadowfeed has been so convenient that it's taking the place of potential RP's in which Jedi go searching for rebel groups or Separatists make plans in person, etc. By no means does this need to happen in every situation, since the Shadowfeed is there to make things convenient. But for instance, I noticed that Baird suggested to the Libs that they enlist Havoc in an upcoming operation; this would be the sort of situation where, unless Baird and the Libs are in regular contact with Havoc or know where he is, some more effort should probably be put in to finding him rather than shooting him a message on the Shadowfeed. (Maybe they are in contact with each other, I could be wrong and if so you're all fine, but it's an example of what I mean).

So I guess all I'm sayin' to rebel and separatist folk is maybe consider making things a bit harder (and more interesting) for yourselves now and then?

Well, the case of Aiden Thanatos would be relatively easy. For all we know, he could have gotten the numbers from Ilanah and Kal since he's a relative of theirs. But I suppose you're right about Havoc. Maybe I could revive Tremaine's search for the lost Jedi. Maybe the key to have things a little harder is to have the Imperial Intelligence nab messages from rebels and seps now and then. This could make things harder for all of us to get in contact with or meet with each other.

I understand it's pretty hard to find a single Jedi in the whole galaxy, yet the Libs have been in contact with more than one. I did stress to almost every Jedi RPers that talked with me about joining my resistance ever since the Trask thing that they got to be the ones contacting the Libs since we're busy combating the Empire and that we cannot waste too much resources finding the Jedi because that'd be a lot of resources going gone. It does seem to me that it's a lot easier for the Jedi to find the Libs or other resistance than it is for us or other resistance groups to track down Jedi.

Since you pointed out that Baird suggested the Libs contact Havoc, I would be willing to have the Libs go out on a limb here and search for someone as valuable as Havoc. I could ask Baird if he wants to do this too. Or at least some kind of interference in the meeting between Havoc and one of Libs' contact. I'm sure Havoc don't mind an adventure.

It's your call, really. I'm not telling anyone what to do or anything, it just seems to me the RP would be enlivened by adventures of the sort you've described. And you're right about Imperials intercepting messages, too. I've noticed highly encrypted messages, for example, sent from someone's ship or someone's home without explanation really of how the person sending them has access to high encryption technology that's on par with the Empire's. I think the Libs are fine here, since Mika Jeebs has basically a communications suite on Nar Shaddaa that's been established. And the Separatists are good too—it's safe to assume they have old frequencies that are secure. Honestly, all this is just something to keep in mind in the future. I didn't mean to single anyone out, it's just my thoughts on things.

Well.... Seems I done goofed.

Sorry Jace. Didn't mean to anger you. I just figured Baird and Havoc worked together in the past, and they like kept in contact and such. Ya know? sad I'll be sure ta change it from here on out, partner.

Honestly gentlemen, I'm not mad and I'm not trying to single anyone out or tell anyone what to do. I just wanted to raise the point that in the future there might be more avenues for enjoyment and activity in the RP if people tend to seek each other out the hard way rather than using the Shadowfeed in every such instance. I just mentioned you and Havoc as an example of what I mean, and I said (you'll see in my original post) that it's quite reasonable that Baird and Havoc and even Havoc and the Libs could have each other's contact info since they've worked together in the past.
