So, I may or may not be going out of town this Thursday (November 10), and even if I dont, its more than likely that I wont really be back on AGW until next Tuesday (November 15). Its no big secret that I haven't had much fun on AGW, and it's at that point where if I dont get away and take some time off from the site to recharge my batteries, then I'll just end up leaving and not think twice about coming back.

Anyways, It also depends on if I have a net connection or not, but I'll probably still come around to read, maybe do a post if my muse for posting feels like it. So, just a heads up to those of you I have threads with, my replies will be taking longer when it comes to the threads.

Have a good refresher mate. Never lose sight of the fact its just a game.

I know its easy to get overly invested in things but ultimately it isn't something which should stress you out in your external life. In my opinion the RP should be like horse riding, learn your technique, make sure your kit and ride (or character) is well organised, plan a route and if you fall off just get back in the saddle.

Also bear in mind, its possible to bounce back - Oriel (in the later RP) went from running two worlds and having a massive army to having nothing in a few months, only to bounce back to take control of a planet... it's all about being robust.

Also, something all the military people here will agree with me on: "The best defense is a good attack", if you feel under siege, launching a sally (after thorough planning) can be an excellent way to relieve that. A lot of the time (not naming names) people plan "grand attacks" or missions without thinking it out or planning for contingency - always well worth doing.

Time spent in reconnaissance is seldom wasted.

Aim for the top, shoot for the sun, then if you miss you might land back on the moon. If you shoot for the moon, there's nothing in between you and crashing back to earth.

Anyway, I digress, best of luck and drink a couple of beers for me!
