| Sounds like the story of my life. My work made it mandatory to work Saturdays. My co-worker had a wedding to go to, put in for it a month in advance, and got denied. I have passed up a lot, because of phuckkin work(rp included). I would love to quit. But who can in this economy? My salon offers education. Beauty school only teaches you to pass state board. All that money, and you learn nothing. Not every salon will train you. Some days I really miss teaching karate. But that was another doozy. Getting worked into the ground. Watching others dropping out of class due to serious injuries. I wasn't going to be the next number for a new knee :/. I need to stop complaining about work. I could go on, but now I need to get ready for the dreaded W to the K.
