Request Issues

So I saw Jaron's new request for the Cygnus Star Empire and would like to raise a few ideas which came to my mind to the attention of management in the consideration of this request.

Just have a few of small issues

- This Kirkwood Senator - how established is he? Pre-making Senators doesn't have a great history, especially manufacturing legislative records. An example of this would be Veritas, he was created as a "well established Senator" but only crashed and burned when RPed. It would be great to see more about the character.

- Wookieepedia is incredibly vague about the Cygnus Star Empire (doesn't really make it very clear if it even exists by the Empire period). With the case in point of Deralia representing a completely un-star wars State (it's just un-subtly Ancient Rome) which exists in the RP thanks to player invention, leaving a whole sequence of Star systems to "player creation" seems a bit too much - especially if it isn't clearly defined (the Cronese Mandate issue of the "owner" being able to make up laws etc) in advance.

Thus I'd like to see a more clear definition of what you would like the Cygnus Star Empire to consist of, it's precise system of Government, Planetary statistics, relationship with the Empire etc - so as to avoid a Cronese situation.

When composing the Cygnus Star Empire, I feel the following considerations should be made regarding it's size/importance:

- It's mentioned in one canon source (a fanclub-only article) and there has been debate on Wookieepedia about dropping it all together.
- It's stated region has a planetary population of 1-10,000,000 people on the population map (Oktos Sector is the one where the region is supposed to be and on the trade route, in direct proximity to Hutt space (makes sense as it was given by the Hutts)). Although the Cygnus B system is in the Esaga Sector (another sparsely populated one) but perhaps an unrelated name, since it's not on the trade route mentioned.
- It's not even on the Mid Rim Map in The Essential Atlas.

- My other concern is the rise in people seeking to play as whole Sectors/Regions/Etc in the vein of the Cronese Mandate. This is only going to cause military escalation and likely pushing the smaller worlds out of being able to compete in high politics/wars. One of the reasons that Moffs are desirable as they're generally clear of interplanetary warfare etc, wheras these non Imperial ones (like the Mandate) aren't.

Thus if it is approved, I trust it will be fairly represented as what it is, a few fairly obscure, fairly unpopulated worlds (not some made up powerhouse with a big fleet).
