| So some of you know I've been trying hard to find a job, since moving to Tennessee almost 2 wks go. I used to be a Karate Instructor before going to Cosmetology school. The past 2 years I've worked in a hair salon, trying to become a stylist. Unfortunately, Tennessee won't take my Massachusetts license. So I have been applying to places for makeup/skincare. I had an interview with Kiehl's, haven't heard back and it's almost been a week. Funny story. I opened up a checking account, and the lady recommended a martial arts place. She knew the owner. I just met with him for the second time. I had to preform on a bag. As soon as I landed my spinning back kick, I got the job! I'm going to be training to be a MMA(mixed martial arts) Instructor. I will also be training in kickboxing and Krav Maga! Woot!

| I took Tae Kwan Do as a child, only to later learn it provides no real value in any sort of fight. I've found that a bat works just as well as a well-placed punch

| Ha! Trust me. With the right training, it is useful. I can reverse a bat on someone. See. Useful lol. Depending on the angle of attack. If the bat is overhead, coming across etc...I know what to do. One of the best training methods is gauntlet. Monkey in the middle. The attack could come from anywhere. Behind you, the sides, etc. Some w clubs, knives, fists etc.
