| I'm aware I haven't been posting reliably, and that this hasn't really been news for about 6 or more months now. This isn't the only thing in my life that I've been inattentive to despite, or perhaps because of, its importance to me personally. I've been circumspect about this for a long time now, but I feel it must be acknowledged that no amount of determination or denial is apparently going to solve whatever the problem is that I'm having—I need professional help of some sort, and I intend to seek it out, however reluctantly, in the hope that I can make a speedy return to myself and to you.
Not that I'm going anywhere, but it's fairly obvious I haven't been "here" in the fullest sense of the word in quite some time. I'm quite able to manage and even to post, but I can't promise, apparently, that I'm able to do this in a timely manner and you all deserve to know this about me and expect this from me for the time being. That's all I really have to say about this—I'm not soliciting sympathy or support, and I think you know how genuinely sorry I am so there's no sense in belaboring the point. Thank you, then, for the read and for your patience and understanding.
