I think it's really great someone taking the initiative.
It's nice to see people getting involved with the rich Dantooine several rpers have built and I welcome you whole heatedly.
A little fracas will add a hell of a lot to the mix and if we had a Rper of the month award I'd be proposing you for it. Disagree with your politics IC and will likely be in the firing line, I'm appreciative that this smaller scale RP on a small world is happening.
One suggestion, why not make these rough riders have another 400 irregular people (young men, older people etc) to bring them upto a more credible fighting strength if attacked?

At this moment the numbers are low and limited because of set reasons.
1. The ranches are not that large. In fact of the total ranches, the Boisrame Ranch can be considered the largest; thus the limited amount of volunteers.
2. Limited funding at the current time; which leads to fewer people willing to join. These 100 can be considered the core believers.
3. Location. Their location that far north with few neighbors other than each other also leads to a smaller force of man power at the current time.
4. Their knowledge of their lands is their best defense at the time being until they can possibly find a better means at providing for more men.
5. Limited numbers of personnel on the ranches. The 100 are all the able bodied men that could be spared. Anyone else would be the elderly, women and children. In total however if we add them all up, there would be roughly 300 personnel in all that could pick up a gun and fire.
