Who is Rath Deschain? Perhaps the better question is, who was he? A charismatic, darkly powerful figure, Deschain was one of the first to turn to the Empire and join the ranks of Inquisitors, yet when the opportunity came for Grand Inquisitor, Deschain did not apply, so to speak, surprising some. What is known is that he was a General in the Clone Wars, a former Jedi who survive Order 66 by brutally killing the soldiers under his command before escaping. His face has not been seen by those in recent times, as he has adopted a number of forms of masking his appearance. Rumors have it that only the Emperor truly knows his identity.
A loyal and nearly fanatical subject, he plies his trade with glee; a murderous bloodhound more than willing to kill instead of convert. This maniacal exterior masks the cold, calculating mind that plots at every turn to find those he detests and crush them.
