Biography

Three millenia ago an unknown Jedi came to the planet sometime after the Jedi Civil War, this Jedi discovered a human population there that had already developed their own language (Yashuvhi - a highly evolved descendant of Basic) and a rudimentary Force tradition. As legend states, certain members of the population proved more apt to what became known as kalak in their language and developed more advanced skills.

In BBY 33 - the Pathfinder III rediscovered the planet and Valara Saar was taken off world, was unable to join the Jedi Order and later returned to Yashuvhu. This woman five years later would become Tes'dra's mother.

The current heir to his family's birthright, on his sacred hali-ra to achieve his people's definition of full adulthood. Likely to seek out kalak (force) sensitive individuals and attempt to make a group to achieve power and influence in the galaxy. A Yashuvhi by birth - his father and mother both coming from that planet, albeit separate geographical tribes - his mother's people from the Yashaka Mountains and his father's from a jungled part of the planet.

During her travels off-world, his mother had learned to craft a lightsaber and two decades after returning to Yashuvhu, she had taught her son how to craft one. However since she was unable to receive training from the Jedi Order during her time off - world, she was only able to teach rudimentary lightsaber skills to her son and student, leaving him with only knowledge of Shii - Cho, the beginner's form.
