History: Ben was born on Taris, and not at a good time. He was born sometime after the Blockade of Naboo, it was when the Separatist movement were starting. The galaxy were in turmoil, and he was raised to taught that the Republic were full of corrupt officials. He was taught that the Republic is to never be trusted, that the Separatists were the kind of people he should trust. His father taught him all that growing up, and at age of nine, Battle of Geonosis had ignited the terrible Clone Wars. In fact, his father joined the Confederacy to battle the Republic. He was a Confederacy pilot, and didn't get to see Ben and his mother much during the war. At age of twelve, toward the end of the Clone Wars, a droid showed up at their residence to inform the news of his father's death. His father were killed at Battle of Coruscant, and this angered Ben. This led him to hate the Republic so much, but also distrust the Separatists. At the time, he had thought his father to be invincible. The Republic were the ones that killed him, but Ben also felt that the Separatists could have done a better job at protecting the man. The Separatists were disbanded, and the Republic had transformed into the very first Galactic Empire. This drove Ben to further hate the Empire. He was taught that the Separatists were fighting to get rid of corruption, and give freedoms to the galaxy. The rise of the Galactic Empire had further confirm his beliefs, but despite that, he still doesn't trust the Separatists. His father had taught him how to fly a ship, and because of that, he left home at the age of fifteen. It left his mother heartbroken, but he felt he had no choice. He had heard that there were remnants of the Separatists, he opted not to join them. Instead, he joined a pirate faction. Ben was able to self-built his starfighter, because his father taught him how to build and tweak a ship into a better fighter. Eventually, that came to known as F-302 starfighter. For four years, he was able to master his flying and shooting skills by shooting down several Imperial fighters. His hatred for the Empire had made him a much better fighter than his father could ever be. However, he didn't like flying with the pirates because of their morals and beliefs, the way they approached things. There was no honor in several things they had done over the course of four years. He hated the Imperials for what they had done to his father, but he also wanted to serve a greater purpose in combating the Empire. That was when he heard of the rebellion called the Libs. Ben had felt that the rebellion could be the best way to free the galaxy from the oppression of the Empire. Thus, he, along with his own starfighter, decided to join the Libs. He was named Captain of the Alpha Squadron because of his experience in starfighter combat against the Imperials, despite his age.
