Background:

A man of mystery, all that is known of Kroenen is what small amount of information leaks concerning his shady dealings for the Inquisitorius. Who he was before he became an Inquisitor, or his reasons for joining the Inquisitorius, are unknown, but it is known that he joined of his own accord; moreso, he travelled to Citadel Inquisitorius on Prakith with seemingly no means of knowing its whereabouts other than through the Force.

Despite his majestic poise and commanding nature, High Inquisitor Kroenen is not a man of ceremony. Immaterial things, such as title and etiquette, do not concern him, only the purpose for which he is currently active. One of the only things he seems to prize above all others is the name of the Inquisitorius; anyone or anything that slants that name cannot be allowed to survive, and anyone witnessing any sign of weakness must be silenced.

Few who have worked with Kroenen have survived, and fewer still have spoken of the experience. Seeing Stormtroopers as disposable tools to use only for as long as he see's fit, Kroenen regularly removes them from his concerns at the earliest opportunity, lest they witness any travesty involving the Inquisitorius. Those who do survive speak of a strange malady, which grips them after spending long periods in the High Inquisitor's presence. Whether there is any connection remains a mystery, though high coincidence suggests the work of the High Inquisitor.
