    History-

To understand Alyn Stark, one must go back many years prior to the Clone Wars. Iaco Stark was a future leader in 39 BBY; a charismatic man who, among other deeds, won the eye and heart of the young and beautiful Erina Malos of Lorrd. While many females had likely thrown themselves at the rogue, Malos was different. She was highborn; the Malos family being one of three that had held sway over Lorrd's ruling since the end of the Kanz Disorders, and she was the youngest and favorite child of Lord Gavin Malos, whose only other heir was his son, Doran Malos. Willful and headstrong, Erina often had free run of the Malos estates and Lorrd City and the outlying areas. It was in Lorrd City that she met Iaco Stark and, between his charm and suave nature, she was smitten. When Lord Gavin learned of her new romance with the rogue, he flew into a rage, forbidding her to ever have contact with Stark again. Believing she'd found love, Erina defied her father and departed Lorrd with Stark. Erina was Stark's consort for nearly four years, leaving him in 35 BBY when she grew tired of his indiscretions. She took something back home with her though when she returned to beg her father's forgiveness: a child. Born in mid-year of 34 BBY, Alyn Malos was viewed by Gavin Malos as a mistake and, furthermore, a bastard child. While he held no love for Alyn, he still deeply loved his only daughter.

As a child, Alyn was tutored on Lorrd, learning science, mathematics, a multitude of languages, the Malos family art of the blade and of course, the form of kinetic communication. By 30 BBY, at the age of fourteen, Alyn was named by many as a prodigy. Brilliant, inquisitive and quick to solve problems, he was one of the youngest members accepted at the Lorrd University. A year was spent in the Academy for Aquatic Studies and the University of Pangalactic Cultural Studies, and two years in the School of Conceptual Design. In 27 BBY, the now-seventeen-year-old young man dropped out of the University, preferring to finish his education with private tutors. During the course of his finishing, he spent the next three years traveling to different planets and learning a multitude of things.

In 22 BBY, the Clone Wars began. Alyn Malos accepted a commission in the Republic Navy. Malos' first action came during the Dark Reaper crisis, when his Acclamator among others aided in the evacuation of Rhen Var. Afterwards, he took part in a support action at the Battle of Thule, which saw the end of Count Dooku's superweapon. In the later Battle of Muunilinst, Malos' ship was one who engaged and landed the killing blow on three separate IGBC gun platforms. During the Battle of Hypori, Malos' ship was one of many destroyed by the Confederacy's orbital mines. However, his quick action as a captain and issuance of orders saved the lives of several hundred clone troopers and naval personnel who were able to escape the crash and subsequent battle. Malos became credited as an ace in the fight by downing six Separatist droid fighters menacing an escaping transport. Afterwards, he kept the Actis-class interceptor he'd been flying at the time.

Malos was strangely absent during the second year of the Clone Wars, taking part only in minor skirmishes. He was present at the Battle of Balamak, flying alongside Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi as well as others to destroy a droid control ship. It was during his downtime after the battle that Malos managed to secure a Xythan force shield from Ord Cestus. It was unknown how he acquired the shield, and its knowledge was not widely circulated. Malos was also present at the liberation of Virujansi. At the Battle of the Kaliida Nebula, Malos relinquished command of his Venator in favor of flying his V-wing against the Malevolence. Such an action was deemed rash and unwise by his superiors and, despite his aid in the battle and survival, he was pulled from command for the remainder of the year and placed on administrative leave. During this time, it was said that Malos traveled to his homeworld, but there has been no clarification as to his actual whereabouts.

In the third year of the war, Malos returned to captain a Venator once again at the Battle of Praesitlyn, his tactics and skill earning his vessel and crew the right to claim four kills as their own. Afterwards, Malos and his vessel were sent to the Outer Rim, where they took part in the Battle of Bomis Koori IV and the Battle of Boz Pity.In the final months of the Clone War, Malos and his rapidly-growing-legendary crew found themselves at the Battle of Coruscant, where, despite command prowess and an expert crew, his ship was badly damaged by the Invisible Hand and forced to withdraw after suffering crippling systems failures and a multitude of lost lives. Despite the withdrawal, Malos was again credited with three kills of capital vessels. Malos' last engagement was the Battle of Utapau, that saw, more or less, the end of the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

With the rise of Empire, Malos was asked, as a war hero, to remain and captain one of the new Victory-I Star Destroyers, an honor he declined in favor of returning to Lorrd. Twenty-three years old now, he had learned much, both in his years of combat and during his leave of absence. His grandfather, Lord Gavin, had passed on during his absence and his mother was in ill health. Before her death, Erina named Alyn as a successor should the new lord, Doran Malos, father no children. Doran, however, was a horrible lord. Wasteful, a lech and cruel, he was not loved by the other two ruling families of Lorrd. He had remained unmarried and fathered no children by 17 BBY, when he was killed in a shootout between Huttese criminals and Lorrd Security Forces. While some questioned how Doran could have had anything to do with the Hutts, more voices overruled them, showing his lack of regard and ill decisions. It became accepted the Doran had fallen in with bad characters and paid the final price. This left Alyn Malos, bastard son, as the sole surviving member of House Malos. Many members of the other two ruling houses were curious to see what the young hero would do, but his actions surprised them all. Breaking thousands of years of tradition, Malos named his former executive officer and fellow Lorrdian, Jendos Merced, as his successor to House Malos and stepped down from the ruling position, claiming that after so many years of war, he wished to rest. Nonetheless, he kept all of House Malos' contacts in the business industries of mining, shipwrights and trade close to him, as well as the majority of the family fortune of billions of credits. The alternate ruling Houses, Garth and Volmen, assumed that Jendos Merced, now Jendos Malos, would be little more than a puppet front for Alyn. Surprisingly, Jendos went on to run House Malos in rule fairly and justly, with little advice from Alyn. Despite the naysayers, their friendship continued and thrived until it became apparent that Jendos was no puppet. While Jendos advanced House Malos in the political realm, Alyn Malos advanced himself and House Malos through business and trade. It was during this time of such nay saying that Alyn publicly changed his name to distance himself from his House. Despite the actions of his father, Alyn believed he should stay true to a piece of his history and took the last name of Stark.

His continued living in Lorrd City, however, led to further grumbling, especially from House Garth. To quiet the problems and further distance himself from House Malos in the political realm, Stark was granted the province of Kinyov and erected a massive palace in the province's capital of Qatamer.

From his time as Lord of Kinyov to the present, Stark busied himself with travel and making friends of all kinds, though more often than not amongst the wealthy and influential of the Empire. He became fast friends with the Moff of the Kanz Sector, Moff Shirnoq at a party on Imperial Center, as well as the governor of the Deep Core world Cambria. Stark was instrumental in delivering certain materials to Cambria to aid in its construction as a fortress world and in return, the planet's governor granted Stark the right to erect a palace on the world, which he did; an identical palace (at least in the exterior) to that which was his home on Lorrd.

During the construction of the palace, Stark contributed many millions of his own personal wealth to Lorrd for the advancement of Lorrd's planetary defense fleet, advocating staying away from mainstream yards such as Kuat Drive Yards and buying from those slightly less known, such as Sluis Van. In 12 BBY, an assassination team of three made an attempt on Stark's life on Lorrd. Only his quick reactions and skills honed from hours upon hours of practice allowed him to defeat the trio of assassins. Unfortunately, largely in part due to Stark's choice and favoritism of vibro-weapons over blasters, none of the three survived to give testimony. Fearing for his life, Stark hired on seven individuals of various talents to be his Shadowguard, as he referred to them once at a party by saying, "My guards? They follow me everywhere I go and keep me safe. Almost like living shadows."

This brings us to the present, and the close of the openly-known history behind the man of Alyn Stark. Underneath Alyn Stark, however, resides another man: the Reciter, founder of an assassination guild called The Citadel. In many ways, Alyn Stark was like his father: cunning, bold, handsome, extremely charismatic, but he also contained the qualities that made Iaco Stark less liked: a disregard for law, a love of chaos and the willingness to take the next step that crosses the line.

During his learning travels as a young man, Stark made contact with a number of beings, not all of them the savory type, that fueled his interest in the criminal underworld. His tutors increasingly began to come from troubled planets or be members of races known to deal with such as the Hutt Cartel and other criminal organizations. By the time he received his captaincy, Stark had gathered an underground following of beings loyal to his family name, or more importantly, the monies it carried behind it. When his forced leave of absence came around, Stark consolidated his hold on the loose affiliation of members he'd gathered. It was time to separate the weeds from the grain. With the Clone Wars obscuring the noise of his actions, Stark orchestrated a campaign of assassinations and murders that would have rivaled Palpatine's grand actions of the Clone Wars themselves; the difference being Stark's actions were among his own, and when his group stood again, they had been reborn as the Citadel; a gathering of elite assassins for hire that moved behind the shadowy web of the criminal empires. No more than three-hundred strong, they came from all walks of life, race and planet. They held contacts in the Bounty Hunters Guild, the Hutt Cartel and even the Empire itself, growing by present day to become nearly five-hundred when counting the varied sources, informers and helpers. To these men, though, Stark was only known by his mask and the name of the Reciter, the man who reads the lists of those to die.

In recent times, Stark has taken more of an active role outside the Kinyov Province, though he still maintains a close oversight on his home and the people who live there. Between making a name for himself a humanitarian among the Imperial Senate with his GalacticAid humanitarian proposition, and the success of his twin companies, Vigilance Technologies and Lorrd Engineering, he was doing moderately well. It was yet to reach the height, though, as after several wise purchases of arms and defense companies, he formed the Stark Defense Conglomerate, an ever-growing defensive natured company that provides arms and equipment to civilians and military forces throughout the galaxy.

As the Reciter, leader of the Citadel and their shadowy middleman group Blackfire, Stark's work has been even more successful. With operatives and terrorist attacks, Stark has managed to gain complete control of Breeka and Abregado-san and is responsible for more than a dozen raids and assassinations ranging from Subterrel to Telos IV, that have netted his organization billions of direct profits. This of course, does not take into account the steady channeling of 'legitimate' businesses such as those based at Shiffrin or in the Axum System.
