Background
Harald Lennon is the epitome of an Imperial insider, having been born to an influential family who emigrated to the Kanz Sector some hundred years hence, they still retain their connections to the Core. Starting from an extremely well received doctoral dissertation at the University of the Core Worlds he has been remarkable in courting favour and patronage for his institution from the higher ups in both the Empire and Old Republic. Professor Lennon joined the Order of the Canted Circle during his time on Imperial Center, and returned home to sponsor his brothers initiation into that same order.
Elected Chancellor of Lorrd University after a dalliance as a strategic planner for the Republic Navy, Professor Lennon has always had an easy way with people, often finding you get more with honey than with vinegar. Largely apolitical aside from his regular attendance at COMPNOR meetings and fundraisers he as been able to win the University Senate around to allowing COMPNOR recruitment on the campus and so curry favour with the Empire as a whole.
Of his several papers published since the Clone Wars, a the rule of Alyn Stark in the Kinyov Province has always been damned with faint praise or gently criticised as being county to the virtues of the Empire, although naturally as post doctoral level papers they have garnered little attention outside of the academic quads.
His families influence has recently proven an asset as he has come to inherit his Brother's well managed Media enterprise (after his death in an accident), an Imperial aligned group of print and digital media ventures known as "News Intergalactic", fortunately for Lennon these ventures are not only extremely profitable but give him a huge ability to project his opinion. Among these are the Lorrd Guardian (the most popular news publication in the Kanz Sector) as well as the prominent journal of opinion in Kinyov Province.
Foremost, Lennon sees his home province and to a lesser extent Lorrd and badly managed, as such he is pushing forward with the foundation of the "Kinyov Democratic Party" to push for political reform, with the later intention of pushing for a planet wide reform effort.
