Background: Raised on Honoghr, at an early age he was kidnapped by Mandalorian raiders. The Mandalorians, looking to train an assassin to work for them against Jedi and Republic officials in revenge for the Battle of Galidraan. This was not to be however, as at the age of five, he was liberated from his life as a slave by Jedi Master Vernon Daine. He was found to be Force sensitive, and placed into the Wolf Clan for Youngling students.
While the head of his class, many looked down upon him due to his species. Known as warriors who had rarely been off-world with a ferocity unmatched, many thought he would fail as a Jedi despite succeeding and surpassing expectations in every challenge laid out before him. Reaching the maximum age for a Youngling, he was being slated for assigned into the Exploration Corps, doomed to never have the chance to become a Jedi, when a Jedi Knight came along to answer his prayers. Jedi Knight Sun Tching accepted him as an apprentice.
Being trained by Tching was a hellish experience. Unrelenting and unforgiving, Tching strove to dominate his entire life, and ensured any mistake was mercilessly punished. Pain and experience were the foundations of his training. While many Padawans would, and did, believe such treatment was beyond that of the Jedi, he relished in it. It was exactly what he wanted, what he needed, and the result spoke for themselves. Over the next eight years, his powers and skills increased tenfold. His Master believed in getting him out into the real-world as much as possible, most publicly by accompanying him on the first Jedi mission to settle the Sepan Civil War. Following the mission, he would be Knighted; and like his Master, chose to enter the Peacekeepers rather than teach immediately, becoming a Jedi Brute.
When he could, over the next five years, he made several trips back to his homeworld. Disguising the fact that he was Jedi, only revealing that he was living off-world, he learned that his father was a Dynast was of his clan. While at first all were confrontational, he was eventually welcomed as one of their one, undertaking the rituals required for adulthood within the culture, and becoming a fully trained Noghri assassin and bodyguard. He had just completed his training when he returned to the Order, only to join the Geonosis strike team the moment he stepped off his transport back to the Temple. While in the fighting he found himself pushed out of the Arena by droids, he found his way to the head of the Republic's center alongside his former Master.
During the Clone Wars, he was initially part of the formation of birth-born forces, assisting Master Vernon Daine in his efforts with Sixth Sector Army and his former master, Sun Tching, in his efforts in forming the Fifth Sector Army. Before those units were formed, however, he was deployed wth Noble Team, one of the birth-born special operations units to be fielded in the beginning of the war. He would also serve off and on with the 417th Legion, and later take full-time command of its parent unit, the 89th Assault Corps. While this posting would leave him outside the birth-born forces he had helped form and train, he nonetheless served as best he could throughout the war on nearly every front.
Order 66 came as he was on Acherin, overseeing security for the peace talks between the Separatist government of Acherin, when the order was given to their clones. Unlike Master Garen Muln, he was not immune to the wraith of the Clones. For several days, he fought his own troops, and joined the Acherin Resistance in fighting against the Empire. It was an odd experience, fighting with the very people he was fighting against months earlier. When the time came, rather than fleeing the planet with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ferus Olin, along with the Resistance leadership, he found a smuggler to take him offworld that had been supplying the rebels. After some time wandering the galaxy among various resistance movements, he was eventually able to join with Master Daine's forces and stood with them until the end. In the final battle of those forces, he and his former Master engaged and nearly defeated Darth Vader. He assisted his Master in avoiding capture following the climatic battle, and helped him recover. Eventually, they went their separate ways.
Since going alone, he has traveled the Outer Rim, lending help and aid where he can to the people of the Galaxy. For the time being, he had abandoned his fight with the Empire and the Sith, focusing on merely being Jedi. While this has worked for the past seven years, he has begun to feel compelled to rejoin the fight once more. Many say of him that he is a Master in all but name, having thus far not taken an apprentice and thus unable to officially call himself, or be awarded the title of, Master.
