Allow me to present myself to the Chamber, my name is Bernard Oriel, some-time Earl of Malreaux, from my seat at Chateau Malreaux, I have often looked over the charming city nearby and across the bay and I have thought that Vjun is greatly indebted to the Galactic Empire for all it has provided to boost the local economy. Accordingly I have always made sure the taxes from Vjun are not only paid on time but also in full.

The Noble people of Vjun, as ever, pledge their support to the Galactic Empire, and to its Emperor, the supremely wise and benevolent Palpatine who brought to end not only strife, but corruption and discrimination which was rife in the Republic. Truly, he has emboldened us all and lead us forward to an inspiring era of peace and order.

Inspired by this, I have composed the following song, which has become the Vjunite Anthem, in salute to the Empire.

Empire, Empire above all,
Above all in the galaxy,
When, for protection and defence, it always
takes a brotherly stand together.
From Mirabel to Morning's Bell,
From Vjun to Prefsbelt,
