Representative, I have read the titles you attach to your transcripts, and It appears they are as follows.
"Milliardo Peacecraft
Representative for Garos IV
Chief Advisor to Queen Cerra
Head of Pediatrics, University of Garos Hospital
Professor of Medicine, University of Garos"
Is one salary not enough for you? That you must seek out multiple jobs? And indeed fail to commit sufficient attention to either? Indeed your recent obvious lack of reading on my recent legislation?
I believe a sitting Head of Pediatrics at a Medical Hospital is inappropriate to sit in the Senate, just as a sitting University Professor is. To take other salaries at the same time as being a full time Government Advisor and Senatorial Representative appears to be a clear conflict of interests, as well as bad practice in neglecting each job.
Equally, since you appear to be casting votes in the chamber, I would ask the Chair if it is appropriate. Especially considering that Mr Peacecraft has not sworn an oath of allegiance to the Empire in this chamber, nor has he been approved by a majority of this house. I would point to "Senatorial Protocol" rule 4.1 with regards to the requirement for approval of Senators and Representatives.
"4.5. Speakers on the Senate that are not approved Senators or Representatives must request to speak and be recognized by the chair, or by a Senator or Representative, before addressing the Senate, except in cases where a member is requesting membership."
