Senator Cambrist, the term refers to hover trails which are suspended above either a single rail or hung below a pair of rails. And your right I did say that this galaxy is a dangerous place, and I do not rescind that but let me stress you have taken my words out of context. This act prevents IMPERIAL worlds from spying on other imperial worlds and committing acts of war against one another. After all if we are to face this galaxy we should remain united under his majesty and as such there is no need for acts of war between imperial worlds.

Anobis votes against.

Sorry Senator Crin, It had potential, but I trust the empire's security of it's planets.

The measure, well intended though it was, is defeated with 21% in favor and 78% opposed. I would ask Senator Star that, in the future, she refrain from using provincial terminology and endeavor to phrase her proposals in a modern, Core Worlds fashion. For example, "hover train" is the modern, Core Worlds term for "rail road." I realize, of course, that rimward planets often use strange, backward dialects, but I ask that these not be represented in Imperial law. Lesson learned, let us move on.
