The Station Constructor's Tax Relief Act
Purpose:
To offer reduced rates on goods and materials required to construct and/or maintain the production of commercial or military space installations.
Definition:
Under this act, the term 'space installation' shall apply to any facility that:
- 1) Does not move under its own power.
- 2) Houses 100 or more personnel on a permanent or semi-permanent basis
- 3) Complies with the current government restrictions on weapons technology.
Statement:
This act will lower taxes on imports needed to create and maintain unarmed space installations for commercial or military use. In exchange for such pacified stations, the manufacturer(s) will receive deductions on the necessary items as they are promoting peace and reducing the arms usage in the galaxy.
