I propose to honor the intrepid work of the Vjun Science Station and its crew, who have made real contributions to the scientific understanding of this universe, in particular solar phenomena in the Volus, Druckenwell, Mandalore, and Baltimn systems. The crew is also to be lauded for, upon discovering a pure aurodium meteorite (the "Stone of Justice") in the Volus system, contributing a significant amount of its value to His Majesty. If approved, this resolution shall express the gratitude and appreciation of the Senate for the work of the Vjun Science Station and wish it success in its future explorations of the cosmos. I vote in favor.

While I may be biased here since these men are citizens of my world, I vote heartily in favour. I am thankful to see that the men of the Vjun Science Commission have striven in the cause of science (despite political pressure from some worlds I shall not mention). I look forward to reading with keen anticipation their future works and encourage them to continue their work despite any borders which may intervene. It is thanks to men such as these and their work enhancing the understanding of humanity that we sit here today as members and citizens and Senators of a Galaxy spanning Empire. We owe a mutual debt to scientists such as these, and their kind donations to the Empire are an example of them demonstrating the honour and loyalty to the Empire we should all aspire to.

So let us all join in thanking these hard working scientists and raise our glasses to each and every one of them.

Bernard Oriel
Senator for the Planet of Vjun
1st Earl Malreaux (Second Creation)
Vjun Delegation to the Imperial Senate

My vote is completely unbiased. While Senator Oriel and I do have a problem, I do not have one with the citizens of Vjun nor does Senator Oriel have one toward the Telosians. I vote in favor because the citizens of Telos IV believe the Vjun Science Commission should be recognized for their dedication and hard work. It is time to give them their due. Please do extend my congratulations to the Vjun Science Commission.

Tremaine Fowlkes
Senator of Telos IV

Druckenwell votes in favor. While we fund our own scientific program, we always welcome any additional data that can be shared from any legitimate source.

Scientific endeavor should be honored, and encouraged. Ralltiir, a world of innovators and many leading scientists, votes in favor of the bill. I don't agree with much of what Vjun's government does, but the Vjun Science Commission appears to be a worthy enterprise, and it is one that I support.

Eli Fitzgerald
Senator of Ralltiir (10 BBY—Present)

With no votes against, the resolution passes unanimously. I also join with the Senators in expressing the support of the chair for this sterling scientific endeavor, and the gratitude of His Majesty for the contributions it has made to the Empire.
