| It would appear the resolution passes with 90% in favor and 10% opposed, with abstentions from Druckenwell and Empress Teta. For the record, the chair opposes this measure and thanks Senator Ordan in particular for opposing it as well. Despite the formidable margin in favor, however, I remind the Senate that slavery is permissible under Imperial law and that Imperial worlds shall not interfere with Imperial slaving operations, including slaving operations under contract to the Empire. To do so would be considered an act of economic treason.
