I am pleased to announce at this time that Druckenwell scientists have successfully created a stable form of synthesized cirrifog. As was our aim, the production of this cirrifog will be sold to aid Monor II in meeting its Imperial quota for mining. This is a great day for a small planet and many thanks go out to Agapos IX for his aid in this matter.

| The populace of Monor II can indeed utilize it the same as they can the normally-occurring cirrifog. As for pricing, we actually sell cheaper than natural cirrifog. Ten credits on the ton, to be precise.

| I congratulate Senator Ryuun and his scientists on the progress they have made in synthesizing cirrifog, a resource that is of immeasurable value to the Empire, its planets, and its people. This should be understood as an example of what can be accomplished with the guidance of government, as it was the government of Druckenwell that sponsored this scientific initiative. The Empire too is committed to the liberal use of government power to make a difference in the quality of life of its people in the unique way that the private sector, for all of its merits, simply cannot. However, unlike the Old Republic with its risible bureaucracy, the Empire is committed to doing so efficiently as Druckenwell has done in so impressive a manner.
A number of harvesting agreements with Monor II (the primary source of cirrifog) are pending before the Imperial Resource Council. The development of synthetic cirrifog will be considered in the approval or denial of these agreements.
