Please find a draft of my proposed sanctions regime for Deralia, your thoughts would be appreciated.
The Second Deralian Chastisement Act
In exchange for all of the following four requirements being met.
1. A full recognition of the "Dantooine Raid" as a Deralian operation.
2. An admission and apology for the poor conduct of the operation.
3. A statement of intention to "mend it's ways" from Deralia.
4. The release of Amos Moses (if they have him in their custody).
The following provisions are to be implemented.
1. Provisions 1, 2, 4 and 5 of the Deralian Chastisement Act are to be repealed.
2. The fine on King Deralius and the Deralian Navy is to remain implemented as per provision 3 of the original Deralian Chastisement Act.
3. The Government of Deralia is to be fined for it's role in the conflict, but only so far as to compensate the families and children of the slain civilians and militiamen, and shall provide a one off payment of 25,000 Credits to the family of each individual killed during the raid as compensation, furthermore they shall provide an annual payment of 10,000 Credits to each family to compensate them for the loss of the labour in future. This payment will continue until the deaths of all the immediate family of each individual (Parents/Children/Spouses).
4. The Deralian King shall write to each family, apologizing for killing their family.
Thus this Act will reward honesty, transparency and justice by removing the present (some may say onerous) restraints placed on Deralia due to the outrage caused on Dantooine. This will reward them for seeing the error of their ways and acting in the manner of a responsible government.
