| I find no reason thus far to withhold the Senator-elect from these chambers. I approve of Hemei IV's appointed delegate.

| I inquire, Senator-elect, as to whether or not you are fully for Human High Culture, or if you are a believer that non-human species have the same rights as human species.

| That is a very touchy subject Senator Domon. While there are merits to Human High Culture, there are also merits to alien cultures that are also present in the galaxy. I am one for all beings having rights, however, even you can agree that there are some species in the galaxy that have made it clear that they should be watched. While the Givin and Muun are perfect examples of species that have proven they can be trusted, and their actions where merely forced upon them from the pressure of other Confederacy members. There are those species, such as the Zygerrians that have proven time and time again that they should be and need to be watched.

| If there are no further questions of Mr. Abram, will he repeat after me, please?
"I, (state your name), do solemnly swear, under penalty of treason, that I will represent the people of (state your constituency) to the best of my ability, that I will bear true allegiance to the Empire, its Emperor, and its policies, that I will uphold and abide the Imperial Charter, that I will preserve and protect the principles of the New Order, and that I will defend all of these from all enemies of the Empire, both foreign and domestic. So help me."

| Excuse me Grand Vizier, but the Senator-elect has blatantly ignored my continued questions of him, and I would expect him to answer it and any remaining questions I may have before we move on. No Senator-elect, no matter the region they hail from, should be allowed to enter these chambers and believe themselves to be above any us.
The Honorable Avram W. Kirkwood Senator of the Cygnus Star Empire
General, Imperial Army (Ret.)

| Naturally, Senator Kirkwood. I wasn't aware he'd not answered your question to your satisfaction.

| Mr. Kirkwood, I've chosen to ignore your questions because I care very little for Religious Questions, just as I care very little to state my feelings of Religion, both from my personal life, the lives of my people that I represent and those of the other worlds. If the Empire chooses Atheism for the State Religion then that is their choice, for I could care less what religion they choose.

| Has the Senator-elect formed no opinions on religion as a consequence of the attempt of the Jedi, a decade ago, to assassinate the Emperor and declare all of us their subjects and they our rulers? I would like him to elaborate on his opinions of the Jedi; namely, whether or not he believes that the superstitious precepts of the Jedi are to blame for countless wars in our history. I would find it difficult to support a Senator who is ignorant of history and of the perils of superstition. Added (12 Apr 2012, 10:33 AM) --------------------------------------------- Moreover, the Senator-elect should be aware that whether or not he cares for the question has no bearing on his obligation to answer it.

| I've never had an opinion on Religion since I was a child. If one wishes to practice a religion then that is their own freedom and I've nothing to say that they can or can not practice their believes else I'd be nothing less than a Tyrant, which I believe you've already voiced your opinion on them in the Condemnation of Monor II's Actions at Dantooine. I've not meet a Jedi, nor have I ever planned to, nor have I ever seen a need to do so. The Emperor took actions to protect the galaxy and that was enough for me. I care less for history as I am looking towards the future of the people that I represent, not dwelling in the past.
